John Jenckins    To the Worshipfull the Justices of Somerset County Now in Court Sitting the ^ Petition
Petition    of John Jenckins Shewith that Your Petitioner is Possest of a Tract of Land Called
Chrouches Desire Lying in ye. County afd. the Bounds whereof is uncertain and the Persons who is
Acquainted with is Aged or Infirm Your Petitioner Prays that Your Worships will appoint
Commissioners to take the Depositions of Such Witnesses as Shall be offered them to Perpetuate
the Bounds of ye. aforesaid Land and Your Petitioner as in duty Bound Shall pray
Whereupon Came here into Court ye aforesaid Petitioner in his Proper person            John Jenkins
& thereupon ye. Petition afd. being Read & heard & fully understood it is
Considered by ye. Court here that a Commission Issue to ye. afd. John Jenkins as by ye. Petition afd.
is Praid & that John Adams, Isaac Dashiell, Thomas Dashiell & Louther Dashiell of Somt. Coty
     be
Gt. ^ Commissioners & Execute ye same Commission According to Act of Assembly &c

Robert Geddes    Robert Geddes of Somerset County Inholder Came here into Court in his

Lycence to keep    Proper person & prays that he may be permitted to keep ^ Ordinary or house
Tavern    of Entertainment in ye. County aforesaid at Princes Ann Town for ye. use &
Conveniency of Travellers and strangers as to them Respectively shall seem meet which is
by ye Court here unto him granted he giveing Sery as ye. Law Directs to keep good
Rules and orders in his ordinary or house of Entertainment as afd. &c.
Whereupon the said Robert Geddes together with John Dennis & William Hath of
Somerset County Gentlemen his Serrys all present here in Court in their proper persons
acknowledged themselves indebted unto his Lordship ye. Right Honrble ye. Lord Propry of
the province of Maryland in thirty Pounds Current money of sd. Province of their Bodies
Goods or Chattles Lands & Tenements Joyntly & severally to ye. use of his said Lordship
his heirs & Successors to be made & Levied if it happen that ye. said Robert Geddes do not
keep good Rules & orders & do suffer Idle Loose or disorderly persons to tipple Game &
Commit Disorders or other Irregularities in his ordinary or house of Entertainment
Contrary to the true Intent & meaning of ye. Act of Assembly in Such Case made & Provided

Samuel Wilkins    Samuel Wilkins of Somerset County Inholder Came here into Court in
Lycence to keep    his proper person & prays that he may be Permitted to keep an Ordinary or
Tavern    house of Entertainment in ye. County afd. at Princes Ann Town for ye. use
                                                                  to
and Conveniency of Travellers and strangers as ^ of them Respectively shall Seem meet which is

Whereupon the said Samuel Wilkins together with David McGrath & Wm. Gray of Somerset
County Gentlemen his Serys all present here in Court in their Proper persons Acknowledged
themselves indebted unto his Lordship ye. Right Honrble ye. Lord Propry of ye. Province
of Maryland in thirty Pounds Current Money of said Province of their Bodies Goods
or Chattles Lands and Tenements Joyntly & Severally to ye. use of his Said Lordship
his Heirs & Successors to be made & Levied if it happen that the said Samuel Wilkins
do not keep Good Rules & orders & do Suffer Idle Loose or Disorderly persons to Tipple Game
& Commit Disorders or other Irregularities in his Ordinary or house of Entertainment
