   August Court              1760                 35
Said Isaac Beatly his Heirs & Assigns to be made & Levied if it happen that the said
Michael White do not during the term afd. Learn his said Apprentice the Trade of a
Weaver & to Read Write & Cypher as far as ye. Rule of three Inclusive & at ye Expiration of
his servitude do not give him a new Suit of Cloaths over & above his Common wearing
Cloaths and do not Likewise find & provide of his said Apprentice meat Dring
Washing Lodging & Cloathing sufficient for such apprentice to have & wear during
the term aforesaid &c.

Mary Stevens    Mary Stevens of Somerset County Inholder Came here into Court in her
Lycence to keep    Proper person & prays that She may be permitted to keep an Ordinary or
Tavern    House of Entertainment in ye. County afd. at her own house for ye. use

   and Conveniency of Travellers and Strangers as to them Respectively shall
seem meet which is by ye. Court here unto her granted she giving Serty as ye. Law Directs
to keep good Rules & orders in her Ordinary or house of Entertainment as afd. &c.
Whereupon ye. said Mary Stevens together with Littleton Dennis & William Allen
of Somerset County Gentlemen her Srtys all present here in Court in their proper person
Acknowledged themselves Indebted unto his Lordship ye. Right Honrble ye. Lord &
Propry of ye. Province of Maryland in thirty Pounds Current Money of sd. Province of their
Bodies Goods or Chattles Lands and Tenements Joyntly & Severally to ye. use of his
Said Lordship his heirs & Successors to be made & Levied if it Happen yt. the said Mary
Stevens do not keep good Rules and orders & do suffer Idle Loose and Disorderly Persons
To Tipple, game and Commit Disorders or other Irregularities in hir Ordinary or house
of Entertainment Contrary to ye. true Intent & meaning of ye. Act of Assembly in Such Case
Made & provided And so forth

Nathaniel Thrift    Nathaniel Thrift of Somerset County Inholder Came here into Court

Goods or Chattles Lands and Tenements Joyntly & severally to ye. use of his Said Lordship
his heirs & successors to be made & Levied if it happen that the said Nathaniel Thrift
do not keep good rules and orders & do suffer Idle Loose or Disorderly Persons to Tipple
game & Commit Disorders or other Irregularitys in his Ordinary or house or
Entertainment Contrary to the true Intent & Meaning of ye. Act of Assembly in
