a hearing of the Presentment afd. Saith that She Cannot deny but that She is Guilty of the premisses in
                                                             Presentment
the Presentment afd. Specified above upon her Imposed in Manner and form as by the ^ Indictment ^ afd. above
Against her Supposed and maketh Oath that Negro Bristo the Slave of a Certain Eliza. Waters is the father
of the Child She Stands presented for &c. Whereupon all and Singular the premisses being Seen and by the
Court fully understood it is Considered by the Court here that for as much as there is due to the County of Somerset
Seven Years Service from Such persons as are Guilty of Inordinate Copulation and Likewise the Issue begot by
Such Copulation to become a Servant untill it Arrive at the Age of thirty One Years whereupon it is further
Considered that the afd. Sarah Donelson become a Servant for Seven Years for Such Copulation afd. And that
Rhoda the Issue of the afd. Sarah and begot by the Copulation afd. become a Servant untill it Arrive at the Age of
thirty One Years &c.    Whereupon it is Ordered by the Court here that the afd. Sarah Donelson Return to her Mistres
Abigal Wilsons Service and that the Said Abigal Return her to the Justices of Somerset County Court Immediately
After her now Servitude Expire in order to be Sold for the Copulation afd. And to Reimbust the County for the Expence
of the Prosecution afd. &c.    Thereupon the Court made Sale of Rhoda the Issue of the afd. Sarah Donelson
And begot by the Copulation afd. unto James Wilson for the term of thirty One Years to Commence from the
time of her Birth for the Sum of fifty Shillings Curt Money which he paid to the Sheriff for the use of
the County &c.

@    Somerset to witt    The Jurors for his Lordship the Right Honrble the Lord Propry that now is for the body
John Anderson    of Somerset County upon their Oath Present that John Anderson Late of Somerset Parish in
the County afd. Planter on the       day of May in the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred Sixty and three
with force and Arms at the Parish afd. in the County afd. within the Jurisdiction of this Court in and upon a Certain
Eliza. McGraw in the peace of God and the Said Lord Propry then and there being an Assault did Make and her
the Said Elizabeth then and there did beat Wound and Ill treat so that of her Life it was much dispaired and
Other harms to her the Said Elizabeth then and there did to the Great damage of the Said Elizabeth and Against
the peace of his Lordship the Right Honrble the Lord Propry that now is his Good Rule and Government and
So forth         Thereupon it is Commanded the Sheriff of Somerset County that he Should take the Said John
Anderson if &c. to Answer &c    And now to witt at a Court of his Lordship held at Princes Ann Town the
third Tuesday of June Anno Dom. 1763 before the Justices thereof Came as well George Hayward Gent his
Lordships Attorney who for his Said Lordship in this part prosecuteth as the afd. John Anderson in his
Proper person and the Said John had a hearing of the Indictment afd. Saith that he will not Contend with his
Lordship but for the Saveing Costs Labour and Expences about the premisses Submits himself at fine with his Said
Lordship and puts himself upon favour of the Court &c. Whereupon all and Singular the Premisses being Seen and
by the Court fully understood it is Considered by the Court here that the afd. John Anderson for the premisses &
Offence afd Specified be taken &c    Which Said John Anderson present here in Court as afd. is fined the Sum of
One Shilling Curt Money which he paid to the Sheriff for the Use of his Lordship &c.

The Same    Somerset to wit    Be it Remembred that George Hayward Gent Attorney of the Right
@    Honrble the Lord Propry that now is who for the Same Lord Propry in this part Prosecuteth doth Come here
Catn Austen    into the County Court of the Same Lord Propry held for Somerset County to wit at Princes Ann Town in the
Same County the XXI day of June Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred Sixty and three before Sampson Wheatly Esqr and others
his Associates the Said Lord Propry his Justices of the Same County Court and for the said Lord Propry doth Give the
Same Justices here to Understand and be Informed that Catherine Austen Late of Stepney Parish in the Said County
of Somerset the XXI day of May Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred Sixty and Two at the Parish afd in the County
afd. within the Jurisdiction of this Court did Commit fornication with a Certain person unknown and did
