-swer the afd John Whittingham of the afd plea as to him it was commanded &c
Whereupon the afd Denwood Turpin puts in his place Samuel Wilson Gent attorney at Law against
the afd. John Whittingham of the afd plea            And hereupon at the prayer of the parties afd day
is to them now here given untill next court to be held at princess Ann Town the third tuesday of June
then next following in the state that now saveing to the parties afd
           Att which day here came the parties afd by their Attorney afsd. and hereupon the afd. John
Whittingham complained against the afd Denwood Turpin in the plea afsd. in form following
Somerset fst Denwood Turpin late of Somerset county planter was attached to answer unto John
Whittingham of a plea wherefore with force and arms a certain hound dog of him the said John
Whittingham of the price of three pounds current money of maryland at Somerset county afd
he did kill and other harms to him then and there did to the grevious damage of the said John
and against the peace of his Lordship the Right Honble the Lord propry that now is his good
rule and government & so Forth         And Whereupon the said John by George Hayward
his Attorney complains that whereas the said Denwood on the         day of           Anno
Dom. MDCCLX at somerset county afsd. with force and arms a certain hound dog of him the
said John Whittingham of the price of three pounds Current Money of maryland he did Kill &
other harms to him the said John Whittingham then and there did to the grevious damages
of the said John Whittingham and against the peace of the Right Honble the Lord propry that
now is his good rule and Government & So Forth and to the damage of the said John Whittingham
ten pounds Current money of maryland & thereof he brings Suit & So Forth         pledges &c J Doe & R Roe
And the afd Denwood Turpin by his Attorney Afd comes and defends the force and injury when &c & prays
leave thereof to Imparle here untill the next court to be held at princess Ann Town the third tuesday
of August then next following and he hath it and the same day is given to the afsd John
Whittingham here also &c              Att which day here came as well the afd. John Whitting
-ham as the afd Denwood Turpin by their Attorneys afsd. and hereupon the afsd. Denwood prays further
Leave thereof to Imparle here untill next Court to be held at princess Ann Town the third tuesday
of November then next following and he hath it and the same day is given to the afsd John
here also &c                 Att which day here came as well the afd. John
Whittingham as the afd Denwood Turpin by their Attorneys afsd. and hereupon the afsd. Denwood prays
further Leave thereof to Imparle here untill the next Court To be held at princess Ann Town the
third tuesday of March then next following and he hath it & the same day is given to to the afsd.
