themselves Indebted unto the Said William Hobbs Orphan afd. in One hundred pounds Current
Money of Maryland of their bodys Goods or Chattles Lands and tenements Joyntly and Severally to the
use of the Said William Hobbs Orphan afd. his heirs or Assigns to be made and Levied if it happen that
the Said Joseph Dashiell Guardian afd. his heirs Exrs. and Admrs. do not Comply with the Guardianship and
Agreement afd. and do not deliver up unto the afd. Orphan his heirs Exrs. or Admrs. or Guardian or Guardians
hereafter to be Appointed or Chosen all his Estate Reall and personall that he Shall take and have
in his hands and possession peaceably and Quietly whenever the Same Should be Legally Required
According to the true Intent and meaning of the afd. Guardianship and Agreement afd. &c

John Dennis of Somerset County Gentleman present herein Court in his proper person Prays that his
Negro Woman named Patience who is Very Infirm and not able to Labour may be tax free untill it
Shall please God to Restore her and to her former health and Able to Labour which is by the Court here unto
him Granted &c

Bloyce Wright being Very Infirm and not able to Labour is Set Tax free by the Court here untill it Shall
please God to Restore him to his health and able to Labour &c

Purnall Newbold    To the Worshipfull Justices of Somerset County now in Court Judicially Sitting The Petition of
      Petn    Purnall Newbold humbly Sheweth that whereas your Petitioner is in Possession of a tract of
Land Lying in this County Called Friendship and of one other Called Aquintica the Bounds whereof are uncertain
and Precarious and the Evidences to prove the Same Aged and infirm your Petitioner therefore prays
that your Worships would Appoint Commissioners to meet on the Said Lands in Order to Examine Evidences
Relating to the Bounds thereof or of any others thereto Contiguous or depending and Your Petitioner as in
Duty bound will pray &c.                                                                                  Purnall Newbold
        Whereupon Came here into Court the afd. Petitioner in his proper Person and thereupon the
Petition afd. being Read and heard and fully understood it is Considered by the Court here that a Commission
Issue to the afd. Purnall Newbold as by the petition afd. is praid and that Edward Waters Isaaiah Tilman
Isaac Mitchell and William Fleming of Somerset County Gent be Commissioners and Execute the Same
Cammission According to Act of Assembly in Such Case provided &c

Sarah Addams Came here into Court in her Proper Person and prays that her Negro Woman Names
Jenney who is Antient and Infirm and past her Labour may be for the future tax free which is by the Court here
unto her Granted &c

JP    Robert Handy    his Lordship the Lord propry directed his writt To the sheriff close in these words Vizt

@    Somerset fst Frederick Absolute Lord and Propry of ye provinces of Marylan Avalon

Thos. Ralph bail    Lord Baron of Baltimore &c To the sheriff of Somerset County greeting whereas a certain

of Mr. King    Thos. Ralph Lately in our county court of Somerset held at princess Ann Town to witt
the 17th Day of August Anno Dom. one thousand seven hundred & Sixty two Before Sampson Wheatley
Esqr and others his associates Justices at princess Ann Town afsd undertook for a certain Mitchel King
Late of Somerset County planter otherwise called me Mitchel King and the same Michel then and there
present in the Same Court before our said Justices assumed upon himself that if should happen
that he the afd Mitchell in a certain plea of Debt for three pounds four shillings and one penny
Curt. Money against him by one Robert Handy in the same Court before our Justices there prosecuted
and in a lawful manner should be convicted and Judgement for the same Robert against the afd Mitchell
