Whereupon Came here into Court the afd. Petitioner in his Proper person and thereupon the petition afd.
being Read and heard and fully understood it is Considered by the Court here that a Commission Issue to the afd.
Alexander Roberson as by the Petition afd. is praid and that Joseph Dashiell, George Gale, Ephraim King
and George Dashiell of Somerset County Gent be Commissioners and Execute the Same Commission According to
Act of Assembly in Such Case Provided &c

Benjn. Handy    To the Worshipfull the Justices of Somerset County the Petition of Benjamin Handy most
      Petn.    Humbly Sheweth that your Petitioner is in Possession of a tract of Land Called Holder's Chance the
bounders of which are old and Precarious I therefore pray your Worships to Appoint Commissioners to Examine
Evidences to prove the Same or the bounders of Any other tract of Land whereon the Same may depend and your
Petitioner as in duty bound Shall pray                                                                             Benjn. Handy
        Whereupon Came here into Court the afd. Petitioner in his Proper Person and thereupon the Petition
afd. being Read and heard and fully understood it is Considered by the Court here that a Commission Issue to the
afd. Benjn. Handy as by the Petition afd. is praid and that William Addams, William Venables, Joshua Hitch &
Thomas Hearn of Somerset County Gent be Commissioners and Execute the Same Commission According to Act of
Assembly in Such Case provided &c

Abraham Dogan    Abraham Dogan an Orphan is bound out by the Court here an Apprentice According to
   Bound to    Act of Assembly in Such Case provided unto Josiah Polk of Somerset County Gent untill he
Josiah Polk    the Said Abraham Dogan Should Arrive at the Age of Twenty One years the Said Abraham
Dogan to Serve his Said Master the full term afd. during which term the Said Apprentice his Said Master
well and faithfully he Shall Serve his Secrets keep his Commandments Lawfully and honestly Everywhere
willingly he Shall doe and in all things as a good and faithfull Apprentice he Shall demean himself
towards his Said Master and all his during the term afd. In Consideration of which Service the Said
Josiah Polk Present herein Court in his proper person Covenanteth with the Justices of the Same
Court in Court Judicially Sitting in Manner and form Following that is to Say that he the Said Josiah Polk
Shall and will during the term afd. Learn his Said Apprentice the trade of a Cordwainer and at the Expiration
of his Servitude give him a New Suit of Cloaths of Kersey Over and Above his Common wearing Cloaths and
a Set of Cordwainers Tools and Likewise find and provide for his Said Apprentice meat drink washing Lodging
and Cloathing Sufficient for Such an Apprentice to have and wear during the term afd
           Whereupon the Said Joseph Polk is Ordered to give Security to Comply with the Covenants afd.
Thereupon the Said Josiah Polk together with David Polk and Thomas Holbrook of Somerset County his Securitys all
present herein Court in their Proper persons Acknowledged themselves indebted unto the afd Abraham Dogan in
thirty Pounds Current money of Maryland of their bodys Goods or Chattles Lands and Tenements Joyntly and
Severally to the use of the Said Abraham Dogan his heirs and Assigns to be made and Levied if it happen that
the Said Josiah Polk do not during the term afd. Learn his Said Apprentice the trade of a cordwainer and At the
Expiration of his Servitude do not Give him a Set of Cordwainers Tools and a new Suit of Cloaths of Kersey over
and Above his Common wearing Cloaths and do not Likewise find and provide for his Said Apprentice meat
drink washing Lodging and Cloathing Sufficient for Such an Apprentice to have and wear during the term afd. &c.

Ephraim Stevens    Ephraim Stevens an Orphan of his Own free Consent is bound out by the Court here an
   Bound to    Apprentice According to Act of Assembly in Such Case provided unto Brittingham Dickerson
Brittingham Dickerson    of Somerset County Ship Carpinter untill he the Said Ephraim Stevens Should Arrive at the Age of
Twenty One Years the Said Ephraim to Serve his Said Master the full term afd. during which term the Said
Apprentice his Said Master well and faithfully he Shall Serve his Secrets keep his Commandments Lawfully
And honestly Every where willingly he Shall doe and in all things as a good and faithfull Apprentice his Shall
demean himself towards his Said Master and all his during the term afd.    In Consideration of which Service
