Archibald Hastins    Archibald Hastins an Orphan of his Own free Consent is bound out by the
      Bound to    Court here an Apprentice According to Act of Assembly in Such Case provided unto Moses
Moses Carmain    Carmain of Somerset County planter untill he the Said Archibald Hastins Should Arrive
at the Age of Twenty One Years the Said Archibald Hastins to Serve his Said Master the full
term afd. during which term the Said Apprentice his Said Master well and faithfully he Shall Serve
his Secrets keep his Commandments Lawfully and honestly Everywhere willingly he Shall doe and
in all things as a good and faithfull Apprentice he Shall demean himself towards his Said Master and
all his during the term afd.    In Consideration of which Service the Said Moses Carmain
Present here in Court in his Proper Person Covenanteth with the Justices of the Same Court in Court
Judicially Sitting in Manner and form following that is to Say that he the Said Moses Carmain Shall
and will during the term afd. Learn his Said Apprentice the trade of a Cordwainer and to Read write &
Cypher as far as the Rule of three Inclusive and at the Expiration of his Servitude Give him a Set of
Cordwainers Tools and a New Suit of Cloaths of Country Make over and Above his Common wearing Cloaths
and Likewise find and Provide for his Said Apprentice Meat drink washing Lodging and Cloathing
Sufficient for Such an Apprentice to have and wear during the term afd.
           Whereupon the Said Moses Carmain is Ordered to Give Security to Comply with the Covenants
afd.    Thereupon the Said Moses Carmain together with William Hastins and Solomon Hastins
of Somerset County Planters his Securitys all present here in Court in their proper persons Acknowledged
themselves to be indebted unto the afd. Archibald Hastins in thirty Pounds Current money of Maryland
on their bodys Goods or Chattles Lands and tenements Joyntly and Severally to the use of the Said
Archibald Hastins his heirs and Assigns to be made and Levied if it happen that the Said Moses
Carmain do not during the term afd. Learn his Said Apprentice the trade of a Cordwainer and to Read
Write and Cypher as far as the Rule of three Inclusive and at the Expiration of his Servitude do not give

John White    To the Worshipfull Justices of Somerset County in Court Sitting the petition of John White
   Petn.    of Dames Quarter Humbly Sheweth that he has a right to the half of two tracts of Land the
One Called fathers and Sons desire and the other Called friends Contention and the other half of the above
Mentioned Lands to Richard Wallaces heirs now your Petitioner prays that a Commission may be Issued to
Prove the Bounds of the Said two tracts and Your petitioner will Ever pray         John White
           Whereupon Came hereinto Court the afd. Petitioner in his proper person and thereupon the petition
afd. being Read and heard and fully understood it is Considered by the Court here that a Commission Issue
to the afd. John White as by the petition afd. is praid and that Levin Dashiell George Irving Thomas
Sloss and Robert Elzey of Somerset County be Commissioners and Execute the Same Commission According
to Act of Assembly in Such Case provided &c

Alexr. Roberson    To the Worshipfull the Justices of Somerset County the Petition of Alexander Roberson
   Petn.    humbly Sheweth that your Petitioner is Seized of a tract of Land Called Akam the bounds whereof
are Precarious and much decayed and the Wittnesses to prove the Same Ancient and infirm wherefore
he prays your Worships to Grant a Commission and Appoint Commissioners to Examine Witnesses to perpetuate
the bounds of the Said tract or of Any other Lands on which the Same may depend & he will ever pray &c
