Upon her Imposed in manner & form as by the Information afd above against her Supposed and maketh Oath that
Charles Henderson is the father of the child for which she stands informed against & is willing to pay her fine for the
same &c              Whereupon all and Singular the premises being Seen & by the court fully understood it
is considered that the afd Eunice Alphey for the offence afd above mentioned be taken &c       Which said Eunice
present here in Court as afd is fined for the premises & offence afd the sum of thirty shillings Curt Money which
she paid To the sheriff for the use of the County &c

The Same
@    Somerset To wit be it Remembered that George Hayward Gent Attorney of the right Honble
Charles Henderson    the Lord propry that now is who for the same Lord propry in this part prosecuteth doth come
here into the county Court of the same Lord propry held for Somerset County To wit at princess Ann Town in
the County afd the XV Day of March in the Year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred Sixty & three
before Sampson Wheatley Esqr & others his associates the said Lord propry his Justices of the same County
Court and for the same Lord propry doth give the same Justices here to understand and be informed that
Charles Henderson Late of Stepney parish in the county afd planter On the XXX Day of Janry in
the Year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred Sixty and Two at the parish afd in the county afd
did Commit Fornication with a certain Eunice Alphey and a bastard Child on the body of the said
Eunice to the High Displeasure of Almighty God to the Evil Example of all others in such Case
offending against the peace of his Lordship the Right Honble the Lord propry that now is his good rule &
Government & against the form of the act of assembly in such case made & provided and So Forth
Thereupon it is Commanded the sheriff of Somerset County that he should Take the afd Charles Henderson if &c To
answer &c            And now to wit at a court of his Lordship Held at princess Ann Town the third
                                              According to a Certain Recognizance by him and his Sery in that part before Acknowledged
Tuesday of March Anno Dom. 1763 Came the afd Charles Henderson in his proper person ^ and had a hear
-ing of the Information afd Saith that he cannot deny but that he is guilty of the premises in the Infor
-mation afd above upon him imposed in manner & form as by the Information afd above against him
Supposed &c            Whereupon all and Singular the premises being Seen & by the court fully
understood it is considered that the afd Charles Henderson for the offence afd above mentioned be taken &c
Which said Charles Henderson present here in Court as afd is fined for the premises & offence afd the sum
of thirty shillings Curt Money which he paid To the sheriff for the use of the County &c
Whereupon the said Charles Henderson is ordered To give Security to Save and keep Indemnified
the Justices of Somerset County Court from all Costs charges & Troubles which might accrue by means
of the Birth of the Bastard child afd         Thereupon a certain George Farrington present here in Court
in his proper person undertook for the said Charles Henderson and acknowledged himself To be held and
firmly bound unto his Lordship the Lord propry in thirty pounds Curt Money of Maryland of his body Goods and
Chattles Lands and Tenements To the use of his Lordship his heirs and Successors To be made and levied if
it happen that Charles Henderson do not Save and keep Indemnified the Justices of Somerset County
court form all Costs charges & Troubles which may accrue by means of the birth of the bastard child afd

of the same County and for the same Lord propry doth give the same Justices here to understand and be in
-formed that Esther Sterling Late of Coventry parish in the county afd Spinster the XXX Day of Novr in the
Year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred Sixty and one at the parish afd in the County afd did Commit
Fornication with a certain person unknown and did permit The same unknown person to have Carnal know
