Betty Gallander	upon their Oath present that Betty Gallander late of Stepney Parish in the county afd. Planter on the xxx day of

Sept^r in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred sixty & two with force and arms at the parish af^d. in the county af^d. in and upon
a certain Betty Hearn in the peace of God and the said Lord prop^ry then and there being an assault did make and her the said
Betty then and there did wound and Ill treat so that of her life it was greatly dispaired & other Harms to the said Betty then & there
did to the great damage of the said Betty Hearn and against the peace of his Lordship the Right Honble the Lord prop^ry that
now is his good Rule & government & so forth                 Thereupon it is commanded the sheriff of somerset county that Imme
-diately he should take the af^d. Betty Gallander if she should be found in his Bailywick and her should safe keep so that he might
have her body before the Justices of his Lordships county court of somerset now sitting at princess Ann Town this instant November
to answer unto his said Lordship of and concerning the Indictment af^d.            And afterwards in the same court came the
af^d. Betty Gallander in her proper person and had a hearing of the Indictment af^d. saith that she will not contend with his Lordship
but for the saveing Costs Labour and Expences about the premisses submits herself at Fine with his said Lordship and puts her
-self upon favour of the court &^c            Whereupon all and singular the premisses being Seen and by the court fully under
-stoode it is considered by the court here that the af^d. Betty Gallander for the offence af^d. above mentioned be taken &^c
which said Betty Gallander present here in court as af^d. is fined for the premisses and offence af^d. the sum of six pence cur^t Money
which she paid to the sheriff for the use of his Lordship &^c

the year of our lord one thousand seven hundred sixty and two with force and arms at the parish af^d. in the county af^d. in and upon a
certain Margaret Willis in the peace of God and the said Lord prop^ry then And there being an assault did make and her
the said Margaret then and there did beat wound and Ill Treat so that of her Life it was much dispaired and Other harms
to her the said Margaret then and there did to the great damage of the said Margaret and against the peace of his Lordship
the Right Honble the Lord prop^ry that now is his good Rule and Government and so forth
        Thereupon it is commanded the sheriff of somerset county that Immediately he should take the af^d. Michael Owens if
he should be found in his Bailywick and him should safe keep so that he might have his body before the Justices of his Lord
-ships county court of somerset Now sitting at princess Ann Town this Instant November to answer unto his said Lordship
of and concerning the Indictment af^d.              And afterwards in the same court came the af^d. Michael Owens in his pro
-per person and had a hearing of the Indictment af^d. saith that he will not contend with his Lordship but for the saveing

Neomy Kelsick	that now is who for the same Lord propry in this part prosecuteth doth come here into the county court

of the same Lord prop^ry held for somerset county to wit at princess Ann Town in the same county court before Isaac Handy Esq^r and
others his Associates the said Lord prop^ry his Justices of the same county court and for the same Lord prop^ry doth give the
same Justices here to understand and be Informed that Naomy Kelsick late of Stepney parish in the said County of somerset the

-nication with a certain person unknown and did permit the same unknown person to have carnal knowledge of her Body and a bastard
Child on the Body of her the said Naomy then and there did beget to the great displeasure of Almighty God the Evil Example of
of all others in such case offending contrary to the peace of the said Lord prop^ry that now is his good Rule & Government and Against
the forms of the acts of assembly in such case made and provided and so forth    And Whereupon the same Attorney of the same Lord
