Att Which day here Came as well ye afd. Thomas as ye afd. John by their Attys. afd.
And hereupon the said John prays further Leave thereof to Imparle here
untill next COurt to be held at Princes Ann Town ye third Tuesday of March next
follg. and he hath it & the same day is given to ye afd. Thomas here also &c
   Att Which day here came as well ye afd. Thomas as ye. afd. John by their Attys. afd.
And hereupon the said John prays further Leave thereof to Imparle here untill
next Court to be held at Princes Ann Town ye third Tuesday of June next follg.
And he hath it & the same day is given to ye afd. Thomas here also &c.

And hereupon ye said John prays further Leave thereof to Imparle here untill
next Court to be held at Princes Ann Town ye. third Tuesday of August then next
following and he hath it and ye same day is given to ye afd. Thomas here also &c

to be held at Princes Ann Town ye third Tuesday of November then next follg.

Court to be held at Princes Ann Town ye. third Tuesday of Marchber then next follg. &
he hath it & the same day is given to ye. afd. Thomas here also ye.

And hereupon ye. said John prays further Leave thereof to Imparle here untill next
Court to be held at Princes Ann ye. third Tuesday of June then next following & he
hath it & ye. same day is given to ye. afd. Thomas here also &c.

:upon ye. said ^ as before Defends ye force and Injury when &c And saith that he Cannot
deny ye Action afd. of ye. afd. Thomas nor but that he is Guilty of ye. Premisses in ye. Declara:
:tion mentioned in manner & form as ye. afd. Thomas above against him hath Compl:

ained & as to the Damage of ye. same Thomas ^ him by Occasion of ye. Premisses in that
part sustained the same John saith & acknowledgeth that ye. afd. Thomas hath sustd.
Damages by Occasion of ye. premisses beyond his Costs and CHarges by him about his suit
in that apart apposed to Twelve pounds fourteen shillings Curt. money and not
more & because ye. afd. Thomas denys not this but ye. same allegation grants to be
true prays judgment for those Damages above acknowledged together with his Costs
and Charges afd. to him to be adjudged &c.
                                                    Therefore by Consent of ye. parties afd. it is
Considered that ye afd. Thomas Howard recover against the afd. John Caldwell his Damag
es afd. to ye afd. Twelve pounds fourteen shillings Current money by ye same John on
454    form afd. acknowledged as also            Pounds of Tobacco for his Costs & Charges afd. to the
same Thomas at his request by ye. Court now here of ye. Assent of ye. parties afd. adjudged
which Certain Damages in ye. whole Amount to twelve pounds fourteen shillings
Current money &               Pounds of Tobacco & ye. afd. John in Mercy &c.
