Samuel Mills    Samuel Mills an Orphan of his Own free Consent is bound out by the Court here
      Bound to    An Apprentice According to Act of Assembly in Such Case provided unto James Shaw of Somerset
James Shaw    County Taylor untill he the Said Samuel Mills Should Arrive at the Age of Twenty One
Years the Said Samuel Mills to Serve his Said Master the full Term afd. during which term the Said
Apprentice his Said Master well and faithfully he Shall Serve his Secrets keep his Commandments
Lawfully and honestly Every where willingly he Shall doe and in all things as a good and faithfull
Apprentice he Shall demean himself towards his Said Master and all his during the term afd.
           In Consideration of Which Service the Said James Shaw present herein Court in
his proper person Covenanteth with the Justices of the Same Court in Court Judicially Sitting in
Manner and form following that is to Say that he the Said James Shaw shall and will during the term
afd. Learn his Said Apprentice the trade of a taylor and to Read Write and Cypher as far as the Rule
of three Inclusive and at the Expiration of his Servitude Give him a New Suit of Cloaths over and
Above his Common wearing Cloaths and Likewise find and provide for his Said Apprentice Meat drink
Washing Lodging and Cloathing Sufficient for Such an Apprentice to have and Wear during the term
afd.       Whereupon the Said James Shaw is Ordered to Give Security to Comply with the Covenants afd.
Thereupon a Certain the Said James Shaw together with Stephen Mills and William Roach of
Somerset County planters his Securitys all present herein Court in their Proper Persons Acknowledged
themselves Indebted unto the afd. Samuel Mills in thirty Pounds Curt Money of Maryland of
their bodys Goods or Chattles Lands and tenements Joyntly and Severally to the use of the Said
Samuel Mills his heirs and Assigns to be made and Levied if it happen that the Said James Shaw
do not during the term afd. Learn his Said Apprentice the trade of a taylor and to Read Write and Cypher
as far as the Rule of three Inclusive and at the Expiration of his Servitude do not Give him a New
Suit of Cloaths over and above his Common wearing Cloaths and do not Likewise find and provide for
his Said Apprentice Meat drink Washing Lodging and Cloathing Sufficient for Such an Apprentice to
have and Wear during the term afd. &c

Thomas Records    Thomas Records of Somerset County Inholder Came here into Court in his proper
   Lycence & Recoge.    Person and Prays that he may be permitted to keep an Ordinary or house of Entertainment
to keep Tavern    in the County afd. at his Own house for the use and Conveniency of Travellers and Strangers
as to them Respectively Shall Seem meet which is by the Court here unto him Granted he Giveing
Security as the Law directs to keep Good Rules and orders in his Ordinary or house of Entertainment as afd.
           Whereupon the Said Thomas Records together with Alexander Records and Francis Lank
of Somerset County Planters his Securitys all present herein Court in their proper persons Acknowledged
themselves Indebted unto his Lordship the Right Honrble the Lord Proprietary of the province of Maryland
in thirty Pounds Curt Money of Said Province of their bodies Goods or Chattles Lands and tenements Joyntly
And Severally to the use of his Said Lordship his heirs and Successors to be made and Levied if it happen
that the Said Thomas Records do not keep Good Rules and Orders and do Suffer Idle Loose and disorderly
persons to tipple Game & Commit disorders or Irregularities in his Ordinary or house of Entertainment
Contrary to the true Intent and meaning of the Act of Assembly in Such Case provided &c

Isaac Addams    Isaac Addams an Orphan of his Own free COnsent is bound out by the Court here
   Bound to    An Apprentice According to Act of Assembly in Such Case provided unto George Howard of
George Howard    Somerset County Taylor untill he the Said Isaac Addams Should Arrive at the Age of Twenty
One Years the Said Isaac Addams to Serve his Said Master the full term afd. during which Term the Said
Apprentice his Said Master well and faithfully he Shall Serve his Secrets keep his Commandments
Lawfully and honestly Every where Willingly he Shall doe And in all things as a good and faithfull
