Demean himself towards his Said Master and all his during the term afd.    In Consideration of which
Service the Said Robert Chambers Present here in Court in his proper person Covenanteth with the
Justices of the Same Court in Court Judicially Sitting in Manner and form following that is to Say that
he the Said Robert Chambers Shall and will during the term afd. Learn his Said Apprentice the trade
of a Cordwainer and to Read Write and Cypher as far as the Rule of three Inclusive and at the Expiration
of his Servitude give him a new Suit of Cloaths over and above his Common wearing Cloaths and a Set of
Cordwainers tools and Likewise find and Provide for his Said Apprentice Meat drink washing Lodging
And Cloathing Sufficient for Such an Apprentice to have and wear during the term afd.
           Whereupon the Said Robert Chambers is Ordered to Give Security to Comply with the
Covenants afd.    Thereupon the Said Robert Chambers together with William Kibble and Thomas
Collins of Somerset County Planters his Securitys all present here in Court in their proper
Persons Acknowledged themselves Indebted unto the afd. Absalom Stinson in thirty Pounds Curt
Money of Maryland of their bodys Goods or Chattles Lands and tenements Joyntly and Severally
to the use of the Said Absalom his heirs and Assigns to be made and Levied if it happen that the Said
Robert Chambers do not during the term afd. Learn his Said Apprentice the trade of a Cordwainer
and to Read Write and Cypher as far as the Rule of three Inclusive and at the Expiration of his
Servitude do not Give him a Set of Cordwainers tools and a New Suit of Cloaths over and above
his Common wearing Cloaths and do not Likewise find and provide for his Said Apprentice
Meat drink Washing Lodging and Cloathing Sufficient for Such an Apprentice to have and wear
during the term afd. &c

Negro Jacob    Negro Jacob of his Own free Consent is bound out by the Court here an Apprentice
   Bound to    According to Act of Assembly in Such Case provided unto Nicholas Evans Collier of Somerset
Nich: Evans Collier    County Cordwainer untill he the Said Negro Jacob Should Arrive at the Age of Twenty One Years
the Said Negro Jacob to Serve his Said Master the full term afd. during which term the Said Apprentice
his Said Master well and faithfully he Shall Serve his Secrets keep his Commandments Lawfully and honestly
Every where willingly he Shall doe and in all things as a good and faithfull Apprentice he Shall demean
himself towards his Said Master and all his during the term afd.
           In Consideration of Which Service the Said Nicholas Evans Collier present
here in Court in his Proper Person Covenanteth with the Justices of the Same Court in Court Judicially

Sitting in Manner and form following that is to Say that he the Said Nicholas Evans ^ Shall and will
during the term afd. Learn his Said Apprentice the trade of a Cordwainer and to Read well in the Bible and at
the Expiration of his Servitude give him as Many Cordwainers tools as will be Sufficient to make a good
Shoe and a New Suit of Cloaths Over and Above his Common wearing Cloaths and Likewise find and
Provide for his Said Apprentice meat drink washing Lodging and Cloathing Sufficient for Such an
Apprentice to have and wear during the term afd.
           Whereupon the Said Nicholas Evans Collier is Ordered to Give Security to Comply with

of Somerset County Planters his Securitys all present here in Court in their proper persons Acknowledged

Chattles Lands and Tenements Joyntly and Severally to the use of the Said Negro Jacob his heirs and Assigns
to be made and Levied if it happen that the Said Nicholas Evans Collier do not during the term afd. Learn
