             August Court                 1762                      155
Samuel Wilkins Lycence    Samuel Wilkins of Somerset County Inholder Came here into Court in his proper person &
to keep tavern    Prays that he may be permitted to keep an Ordinary or house of Entertainment in the County afd.
at Princes Ann Town for the use and Conveniency of Travellers and Strangers as to them Respectively Shall
Seem meet which is by the Court here unto him Granted he Giveing Security as the Law directs to keep Good Rules and
Orders in his Ordinary or house of Entertainment as afd. &c. Whereupon the Said Samuel Wilkins together with
Denwood Turpin and William Smith of Somerset County Gent his Securitys all present herein Court in their proper
persons Acknowledged themselves Indebted unto his Lordship the Right Honrble the Lord Propry of the Province of
Maryland in thirty Pounds Curt Money of Said Province of their bodys Goods or Chattles Lands and Tenements
Joyntly and Severally to the use of his Said Lordship his heirs and Successors to be made and Levied if it happen
that the Said Samuel Wilkins do not keep Good Rules and orders and do Suffer Idle Loose and disorderly
persons to Tipple Game and Commit disorders or Other Irregularities in his Ordinary or house of Entertainment
Contrary to the true Intent and Meaning of the Act of Assembly in Such Case provided &c

John Milbourn    To the Worshipfull the Justices of Somerset County now in Court Judicially Sitting    The Humble petition
      Petn    of John Milbourn Sheweht that your Petitioner is Siezed of a tract of Land Called Prices Grove the
Bounds whereof is much decayed Your Petitioner therefore Prays Your Worships will Appoint Commissioners to
Examine Evidences in Relation to the Bounds thereof or the bounds of Any other Lands on which the Same may depend
And Your Petitioner as in duty Bound Will pray                                                         John Milbourn
      Whereupon Came here into Court the afd. Petitioner in his proper person and thereupon the Petition afd.
being Read and heard and fully understood it is Considered by the Court here that A Commission Issue to the afd.
John Milbourn as by the Petition afd. is praid and that Henry Schoolfield, Elias White, Teague Riggen and
William Adams of Somerset County be Commissioners and Execute the Same Commission According to Act of
Assembly in Such Case provided &c.

Wm. Nutter    To the Worshipfull Justices of Somerset County William Nutter Sheweth that he is Seized of
      Petn    the Severall tracts of Land following to witt Delight Marsh Ground, Nutters Adventure, Dormans
Delight, the Middle tract, Ross, Nutters Adventure and the Bottom the bounders whereof are decaying precarious &
the Evidences to prove the Same Antient and Infirm your Petitioner therefore humbly prays your Worships to
Grant him a Commission and Appoint Commissioners in Order to Examine Evidences to perpetuate the bounds of
the afd. Land or Of Any other Lands on which they depend and Your Petitioner as in duty bound will pray
      Whereupon Came here into Court the afd. Petitioner in his Proper Person and thereupon       Wm. Nutter
the Petition afd. being Read and heard and fully understood it is Considered by the Court here that a Commission
Issue to the afd. Wm. Nutter as by the Petition afd. is praid and that George Gale, Thomas Holbrook, Alexander
Roberson, and Joseph Venables of Somerset County be Commissioners and Execute the Same Commission According to Act of
Assembly in Such Case provided &c.

Ch: Leatherbury    To the Worshipfull Justices of Somerset County now in Court Sitting the Petition of Charles
      Petn    Leatherbury Sheweth that Your Petitioner is Seized of in and to a tract of Land Called Oldberry the
bounds of Which are Precarious and the Evidences to Prove the Same Ancient and Infirm he therefore prays your
Worships to Grant him a Commission and Appoint Commissioners to Examine Evidences in Order to perpetuate the bounds
thereof or the bounds of Any Other Lands on which the Same may depend and Your Petitioner as in duty bound Shall pray

Whereupon Came here into Court the afd. Petitioner in his proper Person and thereupon the Petition afd.
being Read and heard and fully understood it is Considered by the Court here that a Commission Issue to the afd. Charles
Leatherbury as by the Petition afd. is praid and that Christopher Piper, Elgat Hitch, Mathew Cannon and John
Piper of Somerset County Gent be Commissioners and Execute the Same Commission According to Act of Assembly
in Such Case Provided &c
