all Costs Charges and troubles that may Accrew by means of the Birth of the Bastard Child afd.

The Same
@    Somerset to wit The Jurors for his Lordship the Right Honrble the Lord Propry that now is for the
Robert Hopkins    Body of Somerset County upon their Oath Present that Robert Hopkins Late of Somerset Parish
in the County afd. Inholder on the xvi day of March in the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred Sixty and
two with force and Arms at the Parish afd. in the County afd. in and upon a Certain John Roberson in the peace of
of God and the Said Lord Propry then and there being an Assault did Make and him the Said John then &
there did beat wound and ill treat so that of his Life it was much dispaired and other harms to him the Said
John then and there did to the Great damage of the Said John And Against the peace of his Lordship the
Right Honrble the Lord Propry that now is his Good Rule and Government and So forth
           Thereupon it is Commanded the Sheriff of Somerset County that he Should take the Said
Robert Hopkins if he Should be found in his Bailywick and him Should Safe keep so that he might have
his body before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at Princes Ann Town
the third Tuesday of June Anno Dom. 1762 to Answer unto his Said Lordship of and Concerning the Indmt.
           Att which day here Came the afd. Robert Hopkins in his Proper Person and had a hearing of the
Indictment afd. Saith that he will not Contend with his Lordship but for the Safeing Costs Labour and
Expences about the Premisses Submits himself at fine with his Said Lordship and put himself upon favour
of the Court &c.    Whereupon all and Singular the premisses being Seen and by the Court fully understood it is
Considered by the Court here that the afd. Robert Hopkins for the offence afd. in the Indictment afd.
above Specified be taken which Said Robert Hopkins present here in Court in his Proper person is fined
for the offence afd. the Sum of Six Pence Curt Money which he paid tot he Sheriff for the use of the County &c

Joseph Dashiell    Somerset County upon their Oath Present that Joseph Dashiell Late of Stepney Parish in
the County afd. Gentleman on the xxv day of August in the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and
Sixty One with force and Arms at the Parish afd. in the County afd. in and upon a Certain Isaac Coulbourn
and then and there being one of the Constables of Somerset County and in the due Execution of his Office in the
peace of God and the Said Lord Propry then and there being an Assault did Make and him the Said
Isaac then and there did Ill treat and Other harms to him the Said Isaac then and there did to the
Great Damage of the Said Isaac and Against the Peace of his Lordship the Right Honrble the Lord Propry
that now is his Good Rule and Government &c
           Thereupon it is Commanded the Sheriff of Somerset County that he Should take the Said

Country and George Hayward Gent his Lordships Attorney who for his Said Lordship in this part prosecuteth
Likewise       Thereupon it is Commanded the Sheriff of Somerset County that he Should Cause to Come
before his Lordships Justices at the next Court to be held at Princes Ann Town the third Tuesday of
June then next following Twelve &c. by whom &c. And who &c. to Recognize &c. because &c.
           Att which day here Came as well George Hayward Gent his Said Lordships Attorney who for
his Said Lordship in this part prosecuteth as the afd. Isaac Dashiell in his proper person and the Sheriff
to witt Ephraim Wilson Rets the afd. Writt of Veniry facias and the Names of the Jurors in all things
Served and Executed and the Jurors of that Jury thereof Impannelled being Called to witt William
Skervin, Revell Horsey David Wilson, William Polk, Jarvis Ballard, Ezekill Hall, Aaron Starling, John Evans
                                                                            who to Say the truth of the premisses afd.
Ballard Bozman, Elias White John Anderson and William Waller Came ^ being Elected tryed and Sworn upon their
Oath Say that the afd. Isaac Dashiell is Guilty of the Premisses in the Indictment afd. Mentioned and above
upon him Imposed in Manner and form as by the Indictment afd. Above Against him Supposed
