His Lordship
@    Somerset to wit Be it Remembred that George Hayward Gent Attorney of the Right Honrble the Lord
Sarah Game    Propry that now is who for the Same Lord propry in this part prosecuteth doth Come here into the
County Court of the Same Lord Propry held for Somerset County to wit at Princes Ann Town in the Same County the
16th day of March in the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred Sixty and Two Before Isaac Handy Esqr and
his Associates the Said Lord Propry His Justices of the Same County Court and for the Same Lord Propry doth Give the
Same Justices here to understand and be informed that Sarah Game Late of Stepney Parish in the Said County of
Somerset the tenth day of Aprill in the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and Sixty One at the
Parish afd. in the County afd. did Commit Fornication with a Certain Negro man Slave unknown and did permit the
Same unknown Negro Slave to have Carnal knowledge of her body and a Bastard Child on the body of the Said Sarah
then and there to beget to the high displeasure of Almighty God to the Evil Example of all others in Such Case offending
Contrary to the peace of the Said Lord Propry that now is his good Rule and Government and Against the form of
the Act of Assembly in Such Case provided and So forth and Whereupon the Same Attorney of the Same Lord Propry
for the Lord Propry prays Advice of the Court herein the premisses and that due process of Law may in this part be
made Against the Said Sarah Game to Answer of and upon the premisses and So forth
   Thereupon it is Commanded the Sheriff of Somerset County that Immediately he Should Take the Said
Sarah Game if &c. To Answer &c    And Now to witt the 16th day of March Anno Dom. 1762 at a Court then held
at Princes Ann Town before the Justices thereof Came the afd. Sarah Game in her proper person and thereupon
the Said Sarah had a hearing of the Information afd. Saith that She Cannot deny but that She is Guilty of the premisses
in the Information afd. Above upon her Imposed in Manner and form as by the Information afd. Above Against
her Supposed    Whereupon all and Singular the premisses being Seen and by the Court fully understood it is Considered
by the Court here that for as much as there is due to the County of Somerset Seven Years Service from Such persons as are
Guilty of Inordinate Copulation And Likewise that the Issue begot by Such Copulation become a Servant untill it
                                                                                 further
Arrive at the Age of Thirty One Years    Whereupon it is ^ Considered that the afd. Sarah Game become a Servant for
Seven Years for Such Copulation as afd. And that Ephraim Game the Issue of the afd. Sarah and begott by the Copulation
afd. become a Servant untill he Arrive at the Age of thirty One Years &c
      Whereupon it is ordered by the Court here that the afd. Sarah Game Return to her master George Scotts Service
and that the Said George Return her to the Justices of Somerset County Court Immediately after her now Servitude Expire
in Order to be Sold for the Inordinate Copulation afd. And Thereupon the Court here Made Sale of the afd. Ephraim
Game the Issue of the afd. Sarah begot by the Copulation afd. to George Scott for the term of Thirty One Years to
Commence from the time of its Birth for the Sum of fifty Shillings Curt Money which he paid the Sheriff for the
use of the County afd. &c
