	@	Command was Given to the Sheriff of Somerset County that he Should
GH	John Weatherly	Take John Weatherly Late of Somerset County Planter if he Should be found in his

Bailywick and him Should Safe keep so that he might have his body before the Justices of his Lordships
County Court of Somerset to be held at Princes Ann Town the third Tuesday of August Anno Dom. one
thousand Seven hundred and Sixty One to Answer unto Alexander Stuart of A plea of trespass upon
the Case and So forth And the Same day is Given to the af^d. Alexander here &^c.
           Att which day here Came the af^d. Alexander Stuart by Josiah Polk his Attorney and the
Sheriff to witt John Dennis Gen^t now here Returned that he had taken the af^d. John Weatherly
whose body here at this day he had Ready to Answer the af^d. Alexander Stuart of the af^d. plea as to
him it was Commanded       Whereupon the Said John Weatherly at the prayer of the af^d. Alexander
Stuart is Adjudged to Give Special Bail to the Action af^d. Thereupon a Certain Joseph Weatherly of Somerset
County planter present herein Court in his proper Person undertook for the Said John Weatherly and Assumed
upon himself that if it Should happen that Judgment in the plea af^d. Should be Rendred for the Said
Alexander Stuart Against the af^d. John Weatherly or that he the Said John Weatherly Should be therein
Convict that then he the Said John Should pay and Satisfie unto the af^d. Alexander the Judgment of
the Court thereupon or Render his body in Execution of Such Judgment to the Prison of the Sheriff of the
County af^d. in Satisfaction thereof or that he the Said Joseph Weatherly will do the Same for him &^c
      Whereupon the Said John Weatherly puts in his place George Hayward Gen^t Attorney at Law
Against the af^d. Alexander Stuart in the af^d. plea
      And thereupon at the prayer of the parties af^d. day is to them now here Given untill next Court
to be held at Princes Ann Town the third Tuesday of November then next following in the State that
now Saveing to the Parties af^d.
        Att which day here Came the af^d. Parties by their Attorneys af^d. And hereupon the Said
Alexander Stuart Complained of the af^d. John Weatherly in the plea af^d. in form following
Somerset fs^t John Weatherly Late of Somerset County Planter was Attached to Answer unto Alexander
Stuart of A plea of trespass upon the Case and So forth
      And Whereupon the Said Alexander by Josiah Polk his Attorney Complains that whereas the Said
John on the Twenty Second day of May Anno Dom. One thousand Seven hundred and Sixty One at
