November Court 1761 118 Somerset fst Know all men by these presents that we Charles Smith, Samuel Townsend and John Barkly of Somerset County are held and firmly Bound unto Sarah McClester and Rachell McClester Representatives of George McClester decd. in the full and Just Sum of three hundred and Six Pounds three Shillings and One penny half penny Curt Money of Maryland to be paid to the Said Sarah McClester and Rachell McClester them or Any of them there or Any of their heirs Exrs. Admrs. or Assigns to the Which payment Well and truly to be made and done we bind our Selves and Each of us our and Each of our heirs Exrs. or Admrs. for the Whole and in the Whole Joyntly and Severally firmly by these presents Sealed with our Seals and dated this 19th day of November Anno Dom. 1761 The Condition of the above Obligation is Such that whereas the Commissary Genl. hath transmitted unto this Court the Account of the Estate of George McClester decd. Wherein it is found that there is a ballance due to the Abovesaid Representatives the Sum of One hundred and fifty three pounds One Shilling and Six pence three farthings Curt Money therefore if the Abovesaid Charles Smith Samuel Townsend and John Bartlet them or Any of them their or Any of their heirs Exrs. or Admrs. do and Shall Well and truly pay or Cause to be paid unto the Abovesaid Representatives the Sum of One hundred and fifty three pounds One Shilling and Six pence Curt Money According to Act of Assembly when they Shall Arrive at full Age to Receive the Same then the above Obligation to be Void Else to Remain in full force and Virtue
at the Parish afd. in the County afd. in and upon a Certain Thomas Dashiell then being a Constable of Nanticoke hundred and in due the ^ Execution of his Office then and there being an Assault did make and him the Said Thomas then and there did Ill treat So that of his Life it was Much dispaired and other harms to him the Said Thomas then and there did to the Great damage of the Said Thomas And Against the peace of his Lordship the Right Honrble the Lord Propry that now is his Good Rule And Government and So forth On the Back of the foregoing Bill of Indictment it was thus Endorsed Vizt Thomas Dashiell Jurat No Bill William Fleming foreman
