Said Levin Ballard his Damages and all Costs and Charges Accrewing by means of the Attachment afd.
   Thereupon a Certain Littleton Dennis of Somerset County Gent present here in Court in his proper person
undertakes for the Said Levin Ballard According to Act of Assembly that if the Said Henry Calkwell do at any
time within a Year and a day Appear and Make all or Any part of the Said Levin Ballards Claim Against him
Appear to be Satisfied or Otherwise to be undue before the Laying of this Attachment that then he the Said
Levin Ballard Shall Make Restitution to him the Said Henry Calkwell of all or Such part thereof as Shall
be made Appear to be undue or that he the Said Littleton Dennis will do the Same for him &c
      Therefore it is Considered that the Severall Goods and Chattles So as afd. Attached and Valued at three pounds Eleven
Shillings and Six pence Curt Money and four hundred and fifty Seven and One fourth pounds of Tobacco be Condemned as of
the Goods and Chattles of the afd. Henry Calkwell towards Satsifying unto him the Said Levin Ballard his Damages &
all Costs and Charges Accrewing by Means of the Attachment afd. and that the afd. Levin have thereof Execution &c

     Errors Excepted pr Thos. Holbrook
   the holy Evangels of Almighty God that the above Account is Just
and true as it Stands Stated and that he hath not directly or Indirectly Recd. Any part or parcell thereof or any Security or
Satisfaction for the Same to the best of his knowledge                      before         Thos. Jones
Somerset fst Whereas it is Made Appear to my Satisfaction by the Oath of Thomas Holbrook that Henry Calkwell
is Justly Indebted unto him in the Sum of three Pounds Curt Money of Maryland and that he hath Absconded and fled
from Justice and hath or is about to Remove his Effects in order to defraud his Just Creditors    These are therefore in
his Lordships Name to Authorize you to Issue an Attachment for the afd. Thomas Holbrook Against the Goods
Chattles Rights and Credits of the afd: Henry Corkwell for the afd. Sum of three Pounds and the Indirect Costs
thereon to Arise and this Shall be your Warrant Given under my hand and Seal this Seventeenth day of
October in the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and Sixty One
To Mr. Thomas Hayward Clk of Somerset County                                          Thos. Jones {Seal}
By Virtue of the above Warrant and Account Proven was Issued the following Attachment
Somerset fst Frederick Absolute Lord and Propry of the Provinces of Maryland and Avalon Lord Baron of
Baltemore &c. To the Sheriff of Somerset County Greeting We Command You that you Attach Any the Goods
Chattles and Credits of Henry Calkwell Late of Somerset County Leather Breeches Maker if they Shall be found
in Your Bailywick to the Value of three pounds Curt Money and five hundred pounds of Tobacco and When You have the
Same Attached or Any part thereof the Same in Your Custody Safe keep so that you have the Same before our Justices
of our County Court of Somerset to be held at Princes Ann Town the third Tuesday of November Next then and
there to be Condemned According to Act of Assembly to and for the use of a Certain Thomas Holbrook unless the Said
Henry Calkwell by himself or his Attorney Shall Appear and Answer unto the Said Thomas Holbrook in
A plea of trespass upon the Case &c. According to Law and that by Good and Lawfull men of Your Bailywick
You Make known unto the Person or Persons in Whose hands You Make the Same Attachment that he
She or they be and Appear before our Justices of our County Court of Somerset to be held as afd. to Shew Cause if
Any he She or they have why the Same Goods Chattles and Credits so Attached in his her or their hands ought not to be
Condemned and Execution thereof had and made According to Act of Assembly in Such Case made and provided if to
him her or them it Shall Seem meet And how you Shall Execute this Writt that You make known unto our Said
Justices at the day and Place afd. and have you then and there this Writt Wittness Isaac Handy Esqr one of our
Justices of our Said Court the 20th day of Augst. Anno Dom. 1761
      Att which Said third Tuesday of November Came the afd. Thomas Holbrook by Wm. Hayward his Attorney and the
Sheriff to witt John Dennis Gent now here Returned the afd. Writt of Attachment Indorsed in Manner following Vizt
Somerset fst I hereby Certifie to the Justices within named that I have Attached of the Goods and Chattles of the
