Molatto Sue	first day of June in the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and fifty three at the Parish afd. in the County

af^d. Spinster on the first day of June in the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and fifty three at the Parish af^d.
in the County af^d. did Commit Fornication with a Certain Negro Slave to the Jurors unknown and did permit the Same unknown
Negro Slave then and there to have Carnal knowledge of her body and a Bastard Child on the Body of her the Said Sue then &
there to beget to the high displeasure of Almighty God to the Evil Example of all Others in Such Case Offending Contrary to the
peace of the Said Lord Prop^ry that now is his good Rule and Government And Against the form of the Act of Assembly in
Such Case made and Provided and So forth
      Thereupon it is Commanded the Sheriff of Somerset County that he Should take the Said Molatto Sue if &^c to
Answer &^c    And now to witt at a Court of his Lordship held at Princes Ann Town the third Tuesday of August being the
Eighteenth day of the Same Month Anno Dom. one thousand Seven hundred and Sixty One before the Justices
thereof Came the af^d. Molatto Sue in her Proper Person and had a hearing of the Indictment af^d. Saith that She Cannot
deny but that She is Guilty of the Premisses in the Indictment af^d. Mentioned above upon her Imposed in Manner and
form as by the Indictment af^d. Above Against her Supposed    Whereupon all and Singular the Premisses being Seen and by
the Court fully understood it is Considered by the Court here that for as Much as there is due to the County of Somerset Seven
Years Service from Such Persons as are Guilty of Inordinate Copulation af^d. And Likewise that Such Issue begot by Such
Copulation become a Servant untill it Arrive at the Age of thirty One Years According to Act of Assembly in Such Case
Provided &^c. that the af^d. Molatto Sue become a Servant for Seven Years for Such Copulation af^d. and that Nelly the the
Issue of the af^d. Sue and begot by the Copulation af^d. become a Servant untill She Arrive at the Age of thirty One Years
      Whereupon it is Ordered by the Court her that the af^d. Sue Return to her Masters Service to witt Tho^s. Collins and that the
Said Thomas Collins Return the Said Sue to the next County Court to be held at Princes Ann Town in the Co^ty. of Somerset after her
now Servitude Expire in order to be Sold for the Inordinate Copulation af^d. and Likewise it is Ordered that John Dennis high Sheriff
of Somerset County Immediately Sell Nelly the Issue of the af^d. Sue and begot by the Copulation af^d. to the highest Bidder for
the term of thirty One Years to Commence from the time of her Birth She being now Seven Years of Age &^c. And afterwards
in the Same Court Came the af^d. Sheriff & Returned that he by Virtue of the order af^d. had Sold the af^d. Nelly the Issue of the af^d.
Sue and begot by the Copulation for the term of thirty One Years to Commence from the time of her Birth (being now Seven Years old)
to Thomas Dashiell for the Quantity of three thousand One hundred pounds of Tobacco he being the highest bidder &^c
