Term afd. during which term the said apprentice his said Master well and faithfully he Shall serve his Secrets keep his Commandments Lawfully and honestly everywhere willingly he Shall doe And in all things as a good and faithfull apprentice he Shall demean himself towards his said Master and all his during Venables present here in Court in his proper person Convenanteth with the Justices of the Same Court in Court Judicially Sitting in manner and form following that is to say that he the said Joseph Venables Shall and will during the term afd. Learn his said apprentice the trade of a Blacksmith & to read and likewise find and provide for his said apprentice meat drink washing Lodging & Cloathing Sufficient for Such an apprentice to have and wear during the term afd. Whereupon the said Joseph Venables is ordered to give Security with the Covenants afd. Thereupon the said Joseph Venables together with Wm. Venables Acknowledged themselves indebted unto the afd Thomas Smith in Thirty pounds Current money of Maryland on their Bodies goods or Chattles Lands and Tenements Joyntly and Severally to the use of the said Thomas Smith his heirs and Assigns to be made and Livied if it happen that the said Joseph Venables do not during the term afd. Learn his said Apprentice the trade of a Bla: :cksmith and to read and do not likewise find and provide for his said Apprentice meat drink washing Lodging and Cloathing sufficient for such an apprentice to have and wear during the term afd. &c.

the same Antient and Infirm your Petitioner therefore Humbly Prays your Worships Would appoint Commissioners to Examine Evidences in relation to the Bounds of the afd. Tract of Land or the Bounds of any other Lands on which the same may Depend agreeable to an Act of Assembly in Such Case made & provided and your Petitioner as in duty Bound shall ever pray &c. Whereupon Came here into Court the afd. Petitioner in his proper person & thereupon the ing Petition afd. be^ read and heard & fully understood it is Considered by the Court here that a Comm: :ission Issue to the afd. Thomas Linzey as by the petition afd. is praid & that William Turpin Outerbridge Horsey, Josephas Bell & William Miles of Somerset County Gent. be Commissioners Same and Execute the ^
