CHAP. 63.

With, or repugnant to the provisions of this act, so far as the
same relates to Talbot county, be and the same are hereby
repealed.

Passed Feb 10, 1835

An act to establish the Divisional Line between Frederick
and Montgomery Counties

Commissioner.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That to ascertain and establish said divisional
line, William Murphy, William Morsell and Elisha How-
ard, for Frederick county, and John L Trundle and Willi-
am Perry, for Montgomery county, be and they are hereby
appointed commissioners to run out and establish the line
between Frederick and Montgomery counties, and the said

commissioners, or a majority of them, shall set up a large
stone it the beginning of said line, and at the end of every
two miles thereafter, on said line, agreeable to the original
division, and when so run and established, shall be the pro-
per divisional line forever hereafter

Sec 2 And be it enacted, That it shall be the duty of
said commissioners, or a majority of them, as soon as they
can conveniently, after the passage of this act, meet together
and proceed to discharge their duty, first having taken sev-
erally, an oath or affirmation that they will respectively,
without favour or prejudice, to the best of then skill and
judgment, run and establish the divisional line between
Frederick and Montgomery counties, as nearly as may be
agreeable to the intent and meaning of a resolution of a
Convention, convened on the seventeenth day of September,
seventeen hundred and seventy six, to divide Freder
ick county into three counties and the said commis-
sioners shall appoint and contract with a surveyor, chain
carriers, and other assistants, in the performance of their
duties

Sec 3. And be it enacted, That the commissioners afore-
said, or a majority of them, after they have carefully run out
and marked the said divisional line as aforesaid described,
shall cause two plats of the same to be made out, and shall
also make out two several certificates, under then hinds and
seals, specifying the courses, distances, marks and bounda-
ries fixed and made by them to designate the said line, one
