pay such draughts out of any unappropriated money in the
treasury.
Resolved, That before any contract is entered into, as
hereinbefore provided, the clerk of the Executive Council
shall advertise, for at least three weeks, in two daily papers
published in the city of Baltimore, for proposals to contract
for making the repairs above required, stating particularly
the nature of the work to be performed, and in what manner,
and out o( the proposals received, the Executive shall se-
lect that which, in their judgment, will be most advanta-
geous, and shall require the person or persons so engaged,
to enter bond for the faithful performance of the contract.

Resolution in favor of Benjamin Seegar and Isaac Hines.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
Treasurer of the Western Shore pay to Benjamin Seegar,
Engrossing Clerk of the House of Delegates, and Isaac
Hines, Engrossing Clerk of the Senate, the sum of fifty
dollars each, out of any unappropriated money in the Trea-
sury, as a further remuneration for their services during the
present session.

Resolution in favor of Eli Duvall.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
Treasurer of the Western Shore, pay to Eli Duvall, fifty
dollars, in addition to his pay authorised by law, in conside-
ration for the able, efficient, and untiring manner in which
he has discharged the duties of reading clerk, during the
present session.
