Resolution relative to the work lately presented to the State
Library by the British Government.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
joint committee or the Library be, and they are hereby au-
thorised to have bound, the works presented by the British
government to the State Library, and to have repaired such
of them as have been injured, as, in their discretion, they
may deem necessary to the preservation of the same; and
that the Governor and Council cause to be paid the amount
of expenses, and also those accruing on their shipment,
when presented with an account thereof.

Resolution in favor of Rebecca Johnson.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
Treasurer of the Western Shore pay to Rebecca Johnson,
of Queen Ann's county, widow of Nicholas Johnson, a
soldier of the revolution, the half pay of a private, in quar-
terly payments, during her life.

Resolution in favor of Eleanor Dent.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
Treasurer of the Western Shorn pay to Eleanor Dent, wi-
dow of John Dent, a private of the third regiment Mary-
land line, the half pay of a private, during her life, in quar-
terly payments.
