CHAP. 32

As act for the benefit of St Mary's or Silver Run Church,
Concord or Piney Run Church, Emanuel or Baust's
Church, and Benjamin Church, in Frederick county.

Passed Jan, 20, 1835

WHEREAS, it has been represented to the General As-
sembly of Maryland, that a deed of conveyance was exe-
cuted by Peter Hull, to Frederick Shuler and Peter Sholl,
of St. Mary's or Silver Run Church, John Mehring, sen'r
and George Rinedollar, of Concord or Piney Run Church,
Henry Hahn and David Pries, of Emanuel or Baust's
Church, David Leister and Michael Morelock, of Benjamin
Church, all of Frederick county aforesaid, dated April sixth
eighteen hundred and twenty six, for a valuable considera-
tion therein expressed, for forty six acres of land, part of a
tract of land called "Tan Hill, " upon which to erect a par-
sonage house, which has been done, and the buildings for
some years occupied by the pastor of the aforesaid four
congregations, that for some years past, the premises have
been let to tenants, that the improvements are going to de-
cay, that there are debts unpaid for which the property is
liable, and which cannot be discharged until a sale of the
aforesaid parcel of land and premises is effected, — There-
fore,

Preamble

SECTION 1 Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Michael Morelock be and he is hereby
authorised and empowered to sell at public or private sale,
for cash or credit, as to him may seem meet, the said piece
or parcel of land, in the preamble of this act mentioned,
and to make and execute to the purchaser or purchasers, a
good deed of conveyance, in fee simple, of the same

Morelock shall, as soon as he shall receive the purchase
money, or any part thereof, arising from said sale, apply the
same to the payment of the debts due from and owing by
St. Mary's or Silver Run Church, Concord on Piney Run
Church, Emanuel or Baust's Church, and Benjamin Church,
all in Frederick county, on account of the purchase of the
