Resolutions to pay the expenses of the Engineer and Com-
missioners, incurred in making a survey between Cape
Charles and Lewis town Creek.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the
Governor and Council, be, and they are hereby authorised
to examine and adjust the expenses, incurred by the com-
missioners and engineer, appointed on behalf of this State,
in conjunction with the commissioners and engineers ap-
pointed on behalf of the States of Virginia and Delaware,
to survey the sea coast, from Cape Charles to Lewis town
Creek, in the Delaware Bay, and to draw on the Treasurer
Tor the Western Shore in favor of said commissioners and
engineer, for such sum or sums as shall be allowed to them
under this resolution.
Resolved, That the Governor and Council be, and they
are hereby authorised to draw on the Treasurer for the
Western Shore for such sum or sums as shall be necessary
in the further prosecution of said survey.
