LAWS OF MARYLAND.

CHAP 288

to the said minor, lying between Cove and Parkin streets
and Baltrmore and Ramsay streets, should be exchanged
for parts of certain adjoining grounds belonging to Joshua
Barney, Charles R Barney, and Stephen J Thompson, and
to the said Joshua Barney, Charles R Barney, Stephen J
Thompson, and Rebecea R his wife, in right of the said
Rebecca, and if the said persons shall make return that
such exchange would be beneficial and advantageous to the
said minor, they shall particularly describe and set foith in
their said return the pieces of grourd which they recom-
mend to be so exchanged as aforesaid.

Sec 2 And be it enacted, That if the persons appoint-
ed as aforesaid shall recommend an exchange of said
grounds, the Orphans' court for Baltimore county, be and
they are hereby authorised and empowered to direct the
guardian of the said minor, to execute a deed or deeds for
the grounds belonging to the said minor, which may be re-
commended to be exchanged, whenever a good and suffi-
cient deed or deeds shall be executed by the said Joshua
Barney, Charles R Barney, Stephen J Thompson, and
Rebecca R Thompson his wife, conveying to the said
minor the grounds recommended to be conveyed to him, and

such deed or deeds that may be so executed by the said
minor, shall be good and available, Provided, always, that the
judges of the Orphans' court aforesaid, shall be fully satis
fied that the exchange recommended would be beneficral
and advantageous to the said minor, And provided also, that
before the persons appointed as aforesaid shall proceed to

tially to execute the provisions of this law

CHAPTER 288.

Passed Mar.10 1838

A supplement to the act entitled an act to establish a Bank,
and Incorporate a Company under the name of the Elkton
Bank oj Maryland, and to the act entitled an act declar-
ing the continuation and extension of the charter of the
Eikton Sank of Maryland.

Preamble

WHEREAS, by the act to which this is a supplement, a
corporation or body politic was created by the name of
the President and Directors of the Eikton Bank of Mary
land, and the charter oi the same was renewed, continued,
