A supplement to an act, entitled, an act to Incorporate the
Delaware and Maryland Rail Road Company.

Books to be opened

Section 1 Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Ma-
ryland, That the commissioners, appointed by the act to
which this is a supplement, or any three of them, shall
cause books to be opened at such times and places is they
may direct, in each of which books they shall enter as fol-

lows — We, whose mines are hereunt subscribed, do
promise to pay to the President and Directors of the De-
laware and Maryland Rail Road Company, the sum of fifty
dollars, lor every share of stock set opposite to our respect-
ive names, in such manner and proportious, and at such
times as shall be determined by the President and Directors
or the said Company — witness our hands, this
day of , in the year of our Lord, one thou-
