A further additional supplement to an act, entitled, an act
relating to the People of Color, in this State, passed at De-
cember session, eighteen hundred and thirty one, chapter
two hundred and eighty one

Section 1 Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Ma-
ryland, That the time prescribed by the act of eighteen
hundred and Unity two, chapter three hundred and sixteen,
for paying into the Treasury the tax directed to be levied by
the act of eighteen hundred and thirty one, chapter two
hundred and eighty one, entitled, an act relating to the peo-
pie of color in this State, be, for the year eighteen hundred
and thirty five, extended to the first day of July, eighteen
hundred and thirty six

Sec 2 And be it enacted, That the like tax to be hereafter
levied for every future year, shall be paid into the Treasury
on or before the first day of July, in the year succeeding
the year for which it shall have been levied

lates to slaves running away from another State, and taken
