CHAP 116.
Compensation
|
Sec 5 And be it enacted, That the commissioners here-
in authorised to be appointed, shall be entitled to receive
such compensation for their services, as the commissioners
of Washington county may deem reasonable, not exceeding
the sum of two dollars per day for every day they shall
be necessarily employed in the discharge of the duties re
quired by this act

An act to divorce William B Everitt of Kent County from
his Wife Emily Everitt, otherwise called Emily F Everitt
|

Divorce
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland That
William B Everitt of Kent county be henceforth and he
is hereby divorced from his wife Emily Everitt, otherwise
called Emily P Everitt and the marriage heretofore had,
and solemnized between them is declared to be henceforth
and forever null and void and they are hereby declared to
be released from all and every duty and obligation, benefit
and advantage growing out and in consequence of the said
marriage, and the said parties are hereby declared to be di-
vorced a vinculo matrimonii

the election of Commissioners for Washington County, and
prescribing their powers and duties

Notice and direc-
tions on applica-
tion for roads
|
SECTION 1 Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Ma
ryland, That from and after the passage of this act, when-
ever any citizens of Washington county, intend to petition
the commissioners of said county, for opening, amending
or closing of any road, they shall be required to give three
weeks notice thereof, in one or more of the news papers
published in said county, of such intention for the purpose
of giving an opportunity to all persons who may be opposed
to the opening, amending or closing such road, to put n their
counter petition, and whenever a counter petition shall be
