the same shall be paid, or secured to be paid, the said trus-
tees, or a majority of them for the time being, shall execute
and acknowledge a deed or deeds of bargain and sale, con-
veying all the right, title, and interest, which they hold, in

and to the said land and premises as trustees aforesaid
See 4 And be it enacted, That the proceeds of said sale
shall be received and applied by the said trustees in pay-
ment of any purchase they are herein authorised to make,

and in erecting any buildings or improvements thereon
Sec 5 And be if enacted, That the justices of the Levy
court of said county, be and they are hereby empowered
and directed, at he usual tune of laying their next county
levy, to assess and levy on the assessable properly of said
county, the sum of two thousand dollars, and in the year
eighteen hundred and thirty six to assess and levy in like
manner, the further sum of two thousand dollars, together
with six per cent on said sums for collecting the same, in
addition to the sum, they are required annually to levy for
the support of the poor of said county, which said levies
shall be collected and paid as other county levies

Sec 6 And be it enacted, That the trustees aforesaid,
are hereby authorised to demand, receive and recover, from
the collector of said county, the aforesaid sums at the time
they respectively become payable, and apply the same in
carrying into effect, the provisions of this act

Sec 7 And be it enacted, That the trustees aforesaid,
are hereby authorised and empowered, to borrow forthwith
any sum not exceeding three thousand dollars, at their dis
cretion, upon the faith and credit of the levies herein direct
ed to be applied to the purposes aforesaid

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Judge of any Orphans' Court, to whom, by virtue of
the supplement to the act to which this is a supplement,
passed at December session, eighteen hundred and seven-
