to amend the lottery system; providing
various prohibitions and penalties for
selling any devise connected with a lottery
scheme, etc. without license, etc.
denying witnesses the privilege of refusing
to answer in regard to offenses,
under this act, because their answer
might criminate themselves; giving Baltimore
city court, jurisdiction of cases
occurring in said city under this act,
and dispensing with the necessity of
proving a game of chance or devise,
etc. to evade the lottery system, and
assuming the name upon the face of the
instrument, as conclusive evidence, etc.
For shutting up part of in the city of
Baltimore

regulating; requiring prime qualities to
be marked as such; all other that is merchantable,
to be marked as 2d; and such
as is not merchantable, as cullings or 3d
