An Act for the relief of Elizabeth Shoebrooks, of Queen-
Anne's County.

Passed Feb 13,1129

Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Ma-
ryland, That from and after the passage of this act, the

marriage contract between Elizabeth Shoebrooks and James
Shoebrooks, is hereby declared to be annulled and de-
stroyed, and the said Elizabeth Shoebrooks hereby is de-
clared to be divorced from her husband, James Shoebrooks,
as entirely, and to as full extent as if the said James Shoe-
brooks were dead, or as if she, the said Elizabeth Shoe-
brooks, had never been joined in matrimony with him.

An Act to enlarge the powers of the President and Ma-
nagers of the Baltimore and Frederick-Town Turn-
pike Road.

Passed Feb 11,1829

WHEREAS it is represented to .his general assembly, that

Company will cross the turnpike road heretofore made by
the president, managers and company, of the Baltimore and
Frederick-town turnpike road, in two or more places; there-
fore,

Preamable

Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Ma-
ryland, That the president and managers, for the time be-
ing, of the said Baltimore and Frederick-town turnpike road,
be and they are hereby authorised, from time to time, to fix
by agreement or agreements, in writing, with the president
and directors of the Baltimore and Ohio Rail Road Compa-
ny, the terms, manner and conditions, on which the said rail
road may cross the said turnpike road, and the said agree-
ment or agreements shall be binding and obligatory on
the president, managers and company, of the Baltimore
and Frederick-town turnpike road company, and upon
the Baltimore and Ohio Rail Road company, and their se-

veral successors, forever; Provided, such agreement or
agreements be signed by the presidents of the said turnpike
road company, and rail road company, and sealed with the
seals of the said corporations, and also be recorded within
six months from the date thereof among the land records of
Baltimore county.
