of Caroline county, on the first Monday in April and
July
and the second Monday of October, also that part of the
seventh section of said act, as directs and requires the aforesaid
Trustees, or a majority of them, to meet together between
the first and tenth day of April, in each and every year,
to appoint a fit person to be Overseer, be, and the same are
hereby repealed.

CHAP. 191.
|
Sec. 2. And be it enacted,
That the said Trustees of the
Poor, in lieu of meeting on said first Monday of April and
July, and second Monday of October, shall hereafter meet at
the Alms or Poors House, in the said county, annually, on the
fourth Monday in March, on which day, they or a majority
of them, shall appoint a fit and suitable person to be Overseer
of said Alms or Poors House, and such other proper officers
and servants as to them shall appear necessary; and shall also
meet on the third Monday in July and fourth Monday of October,
and on the second Monday in January, in each and
every year.

CHAPTER 192.
An act for the benefit of Lucy Ann Bryan, and James Jones
and Ann Jones his wife, of Prince George's County.

Passed Feb. 27, 1830.
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That
the Orphans Court of Prince Georges' county, be, and they
are hereby authorised and required to order and direct William
Bryan (of Thomas) the administrator of Sarah Bryan, late of
said county, deceased, to pay over unto the aforesaid Lucy
Ann Bryan and James Jones, in equal portions, share and
share alike, all the personal estate, which may remain in his,
the said administrator's hands, after the payment of the debts
of the said Sarah, the funeral expences and the expences incident
to the administration; and that the said Lucy Ann and
James, shall have the same remedies against the said administrator
to compel him to settle his accounts with the said Orphans
Court, and to pay over to them the said Lucy Ann and
James, the said residue of said personal estate in manner aforesaid,
to which any distributee of the personal estate of an intestate,
is by the existing laws entitled.
