CHAPTER 130.
An act authorising the appointment of a Trustee for the purpose
of making a conveyance for a certain piece of land therein
mentioned, to Isaac Williams, of Cecil County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by
the General Assembly of Maryland,
That John Ash, of Cecil county, be and he is hereby
appointed a Trustee, with power to convey to Isaac Williams
one half acre of land bordering on the main road leading to
Elkton, and being on the extreme line of the farm of the late
William Whittam, being the same half acre which was heretofore
purchased by the said Isaac Williams, from the said
William Wittam.

CHAPTER 131.
An act to fix the compensation of Jurors in Queen Ann's
County.
|
Passed Feb. 24, 1830.
|
Section 1. Be it enacted by
the General Assembly of Maryland,
That each and every juror hereafter to be summoned on
the regular pannel of jurors to Queen Ann's County Court,
shall be entitled to receive for each day which he shall attend
as a juror, the sum of one dollar and fifty cents, and in addition
thereto, an allowance of six and a quarter cents per miles, for
every mile that his place of residence shall be distant from the
place of holding the County Court; and to be levied, collected,
and paid, in the same manner, and at the same time, with
his per diem allowance; and he shall be entitled to receive
mileage for each day, such juror shall attend the court.

Compensation.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted,
That nothing contained in the
aforegoing section shall be construed to allow any juror mileage
in returning to his residence, during the time he shall attend
said county court.

CHAPTER 132.
An act relating to the records in the Register of Wills' office,
in Caroline county.

WHEREAS, it is represented to this General
Assembly, by
the petition of James Sangston, Register of Wills for Caroline
county, that certain records in his office, commonly called
" Key to Administrations, and Key to Guardianships," have
become much injured and defaced, and liable to become finally
lost, therefore,
