to be in full force, and to have the same effect, as if the same
were incorporated into, and made a part of this act.
  CHAP. 106.  
    Sec. 16.  And be it enacted, That William Sudler, John H.
Bell, Isaac M. Adams, Joseph Morris, and John Woolford,
Jr. be and they are hereby appointed commissioners of the
tax for said county, and the said commissioners, or a majority
of them, shall have power to fill all vacancies, which may occur
from time to time in their board, by resignation, death or
otherwise.

    Sec. 17.  And be it enacted, That an act passed at December
session eighteen hundred and twenty-eight, chapter fifteen, be
and the same is hereby repealed.

                                        CHAPTER 107.

An act for the dispatch of business in Frederick County Court.


Passed Feb. 20, 1830.
    Section 1.  Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That from and after the passage of this act, the county
court of Frederick county, shall be held on the second Monday
of May and December, in each and every year, in addition
to the terms now established by law for holding courts in
said county.
Additional terms.
    Sec. 2.  And be it enacted, That it shall hereafter be the exclusive
duty of the Judges of Frederick county court, at the
additional terms of May and December, in each and every year
to hear, determine, and transact all business which may hereafter
arise in said county, and which is now pending in the said
county court, under the provisions of the insolvent law of
this State, passed at November session eighteen hundred and
five, and the several supplements thereto; to hear and determine
all cases, and transact all business relative to public roads
in said county; to hear, determine, and dispose of all appeals
from judgments of Justices of the Peace, in said county; and
to transact and dispose of all business relative to felonies,
crimes, offences, or misdemeanors, in the same manner as was
heretofore done at the February and October terms of said
county court.

    Sec. 3.  And be it enacted, That hereafter, the February and
October terms of said county court shall be exclusively set apart
for the trial and transaction of business on the civil docket,
and the transaction of Chancery business, and that all process
in civil cases hereafter to be issued from the said county
court, shall be made returnable to the October and February
terms of said court, and tested as they now, by law, are.
For February and
October terms.
    Sec. 4.  And be it enacted, That after the fourth Monday of
February, eighteen hundred and thirty, all commitments, and
recognizances for all felonies, crimes, offences, or misdemeanors,
