  CHAP. 45.  

Passed Feb. 2, 1830.
                                        CHAPTER 45.

An act to divorce Barbara Bast, and her husband Cornelius
                                Bast, of Frederick County.

Divorce.
    Section 1.  Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the said Barbara Bast, be, and she is hereby divorced
from bed, board and mutual co-habitation, with her
husband Cornelius Bast.
Claims annulled.
    Sec. 2.  And be it enacted, That the said Cornelius Bast,
shall not by virtue of his marriage with the said Barbara Bast,
be authorised to have or claim any right or interest in the estate,
real, personal or mixed, of the said Barbara Bast, to be
by her acquired after the passage of this act, nor shall Barbara
Bast be authorised to have or claim any right or interest, in
the estate, real, personal or mixed of the said Cornelius Bast,
to be by him acquired after the passage of this act.
Feme Sole.
    Sec. 3.  And be it enacted, That the said Barbara Bast, shall
have and exercise all the rights, privileges and immunities, and
be subject to all the legal responsibilities of a feme sole, in
the same manner she would have been if she had never been
married.
Liability annulled.
    Sec. 4.  And be it enacted, That the said Cornelius Bast,
shall not be liable for any debt to be hereafter contracted by
the said Barbara Bast.

Passed Feb. 2, 1830.
                                        CHAPTER 46.

An act for the benefit of the devisees and legal representatives
       of Moses Robinett, late of Allegany county, deceased.

Preamble.
    WHEREAS, it appears to this General Assembly, that Moses
Robinett, late of Allegany county, departed this life in or about
the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and ten, having
first duly made, executed and published his last will and testament,
that the said will was duly proved before the orphans
court of said county, on the twenty ninth day of June, in the
year eighteen hundred and eleven, and recorded on the same
day among the records of said court; and whereas, it also appears,
that the register of wills for said county, neglected to
record the probate of said will, and that doubts exist whether
the probate can now be legally recorded, without the authority
of the General Assembly, Therefore,
Record directed.
    Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the present register of wills for Allegany county, be, and he
is authorised and directed to record among the records of the
orphans court of said county, the probate of said will, and the
said record shall be of the same validity and have the same legal
