No. 51.

1828

A Resolution in favour of Andrew Schrach, of the city of
Baltimore, in consideration of his services during the Re-
Tolutionary War.

Resolved, That the treasurer of the western shore pay to
Andrew Schrach, of the city of Baltimore, or to his order,
during life, in half yearly payments, a sum of money equal
to the half pay of a private, in consideration of his services
during the revolutionary war.

No. 53.

A Resolution to provide for the payment of the expense in-
curred for the sawing of wood, for the use of both branches
of the Legislature.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the treasurer of the western shore pay to John Quynn,
twelve dollars and fifty cents, advanced by him for the hire
of a man to saw wood for both branches of the legislature
of Maryland.

No. 53.

A Resolution to compensate Gottleb I. Grammer, Sergeant
at Arms of the House of Delegates, for serving subpoenas
on certain Witnesses therein mentioned.

Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the treasurer of the western shore be, and he is hereby au-
thorised and directed, to pay to Gottleb I. Grammer, ser-
geant at arms of the house of delegates, the sum of fourteen
dollars and forty cents, for serving subpoenas on thirty-six
witnesses to appear before the committee on elections and
privileges, to give evidence in the case of the Annapolis con-
tested election, and before the joint committee on the sub-
ject of the chancery records.

A Resolution providing for the payment of FielAng Lucas,
junior, of the city of Baltimore, for Books furnished the
State in 1828.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the treasurer of the western shore be, and he is hereby au-.
