At a Session of the General Assembly of Maryland,
begun and held at the City of Annapolis, on the
last Monday of December, being the twenty-ninth
day of the said month, in the year of our Lord
one thousand eight hundred and twenty-eight, and
ended the fourteenth day of March in the year one
thousand eight hundred and twenty-nine,

THE FOLLOWING LAWS WERE ENACTED, TO WIT:
CHAPTER I.
An Act to alter and repeal all such parts of the Constitu-
sion of Dorchester County into Election Districts.

Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Ma-
ryland, That all such parts of the constitution and form of
government as relate to the division of Dorchester county
into seven separate election districts, be and the same are
hereby repealed.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That Dorchester county shall
be divided and laid off into eight separate election dis-
tricts.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That if this act shall be confirm-
ed by the general assembly of Maryland after the next elec-
tion of delegates, in the first session after such new election
as the constitution and form of government directs, in such
case this act, and the alterations herein contained, shall con
stitute and be considered as a part of the said constitutior
and form of government to all intents and purposes.
