CHAP. CLV.

A Supplement to the act, entitled, An act incorporating

CHAP. 155.

the Frederick-Town Savings Institittion, passed at De-
cember Session, eighteen hundred and twenty-seven,
chapter 42.

Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Ma-
ryland, That the directors of said institution be and they
are hereby authorised to fill any vacancies that may have
occurred, or that may hereafter occur in their board, to en-
able them the more effectually to transact the business of said
institution.

CHAP. CLVI.

An Act for the relief of Robert Johnston, and John Mal-
loy, of Cecil County.

Passed Mar. 10, 1829

Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Ma-
ryland, That the commissioners of Cecil county be and they
are hereby authorised and required, at their next levy, to
assess and levy on the assessable property of said county,
the sum of thirty-nine dollars, for the use of Robert John-
ston, the sum of twenty dollars for the use of John Malloy,
in addition to the sum now allowed him, to be collected by
the collector in the district in which they may reside, and to
pay the same to them or their order.

CHAP. CLVII.

A Supplement to an act, entitled, An act for the relief of
Leah W. Hubbell, of Dorchester county, passed at
December Session eighteen hundred and eighteen, chap-
ter sixty-eight.

Passed Mar 12, 1829

Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Ma-
ryland, That the divorce of Leah W. Hubbell, from her
husband Josiah Hubbell, directed by the act to which this
is a supplement, shall be, and is hereby made and declared
to be, a divorce a vinculo matrimonii, as fully and to all
intents and purposes as if the said parties had been thus di-
vorced by the said original act, nevertheless reserving to the
said Leah W. Hubbell. or her legal representative, the right to
ask, claim and receive, from the said Josiah Hubbell, all of
the property which she possessed before her intermarriage
with him, and that came to his hands, which he may not
have returned, or the value thereof, if the same cannot be
specifically delivered.
