Repeal

Sec. 10. And be it enacted, That all laws inconsistent
with, or repugnant to this act, be and the same are hereby re-
pealed.

Company to pay
for bride
|
Sec. 11. And be it enacted, Provided always, That the
company hereby authorised to improve the road between
Frederick-town and Harper's-ferry shall pay to the clerk of
the levy court of Frederick county, for the use of said coun-
ty, subject to the appropriation of the levy court, such sum
of money as shall be adjudged and awarded by three indif-
ferent persons to be chosen by Frederick county court, as
the value of any bridge which may be erected by said levy
court over Catoctin creek on said road, before any tolls shall
be collected on said road, and it is hereby made the duty of
said county court, upon being satisfied that said road is com-
pleted according to the directions of this act, to appoint three
persons to appraise the value of said bridge, upon the applica-
tion of said levy court.

Aw Act to divorce James Poteet, and Margaret Poteet,
of Harford County.

Divorce
|
Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Ma-
ryland, That the marriage of the said James Poteet, and
Margaret Poteet, of Harford county, heretofore solemnized,
be, and the same is hereby declared to be, absolutely, and
to all intents and purposes, null and void, and the said
James Poteet, and Margaret Poteet, are declared to be
divorced a vinculo matrimonii.

Art Act to authorise the Trustees of the Primary School
District No. nine, in Queen-Anne's County, to deposite
in the Savings Bank of Baltimore, the sums due to
the Representatives of John Deford, for a School Lot
in said District.

Preamble
|
WHEREAS the trustees of the Primary School District
No. nine, in Queen-Anne's county, have represented, that
there is in their hands a small sum of money belonging to
the representatives of the late proprietor of the land on
which the school house in said district stands, of which re-
presentatives one is a minor, and without a guardian, the
other an idiot in the alms-house of said county, and pray-
ing for the passage of a law to authorise them to pay said mo-
