An Act for the repairing of a Bridge over the Main Falls
of Patapsco, on the Liberty Road, in Baltimore Coun-
ty.

WHEREAS it is represented to this general assembly, by
the memorial of sundry citizens of Baltimore county, that
the bridge over the Main Falls of Patapsco, on the Liber-
ty road, in Baltimore county, is now in a state of dilapi-
dation; therefore,

Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Ma-
ryland, That the commissioners of Baltimore comity be and
they are hereby authorised to appoint three discreet and dis-
interested persons to view said bridge, and report to the
commissioners of said county the probable expense of re-
oners asaforesaid, they shall deem it necessary to levy a fur-
ther sum sufficient for the repairing of said bridge, not ex-
ceeding three hundred dollars, they are hereby authorised
to levy the same on the assessable property of said county,
and have it collected and paid over for that purpose.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That when the said county
commissioners shall have received the report of three
persons as herein before mentioned, they shall then give no-
tice that they will receive proposals for contracting Tor the
repaired, with good and substantial materials, if they in
their judgment shall deem the same to be proper.

An Act incorporating a Company for the Improvement
of the Public Road from the City of Frederick to
Harper's Ferry.
|

Sec. 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Ma-
ryland, That a company shall he incorporated to make a
public road from Frederick to Harper's Ferry, commencing
for the same at the west end of the city of Frederick, at the
turnpike road, and about thirty feet west of the north west
corner of Col. Stephen Steiner's new brick dwelling house,
and running thence by and with the courses and distances
marked for the route of the turnpike road from Frederick
to Harper's Ferry, or as near thereto as the president and
managers of the company may in their judgment think ex-
pedient, as located by Lawrence Brengle, Henry Kemp,
