CHAPTER 42.
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 13 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Harford County,"
sub-title "County Commissioners," as codified by Chap-
ter 680 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland
of 1916, to be known as Section 189-A.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section to be known as Section 189-A be and
the same is hereby added to Article 13 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title "Harford County," sub-title
"County Commissioners," as codified by Chapter 680 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1916, to read
as follows:
189-A. That the Board of County Commissioners of Har-
ford County shall receive two dollars per day for each day
they shall be engaged in the discharge of their duties in addi-
tion to the compensation now allowed by law from January
1, 1920, to January 1, 1922, and no longer.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1920.

CHAPTER 43.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
106C of Article 8 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, title "Cecil County," sub-title "County Com-
missioners," as enacted by Chapter 67 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland of 1918.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 106C of Article 8 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title "Cecil County," sub-title
"County Commissioners," as enacted by Chapter 67 of the
Acts of 1918, be and the same is hereby repealed and re-
enacted with amendments so as to read as follows:
SECTION 106C. The County Commissioners of Cecil County
shall receive an annual salary of two thousand dollars in lieu
of all other compensation, per diem or mileage, and shall be
required to devote all their time to the duties of said office.
