sand five hundred dollars ($67,500) provided in Sections 1 and
2 of this Act to the building and improving of said roads in
said Twelfth Election District of Montgomery County, other-
wise this Act to be null and void, said assurance and security
for the payment of said donation of seven thousand five hun-
dred dollars ($7,500) to be accepted only under such terms
and conditions as said County Commissioners may prescribe to
insure the certain payment of said donation.

CHAPTER 483.

AN ACT to repeal Section 19 of Article IX of the Annotated
Code of Maryland, title "Attachments," relating to dis-
solving attachments and to re-enact the same, with amend-
ments.

SECTION 1. Be it en-acted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 19 of Article IX of the Annotated Code of
Maryland, title "Attachments," relating to dissolving attach-
ments, be and the same is hereby repealed and in lieu thereof
re-enacted with amendments, so as to read as follows:

19. No attachment shall be dissolved unless every defend-
ant appears to the action, and unless a bond be given by or on
behalf of the defendant or defandants, in a sum equal to the
value of the property attached, with security to be approved
by the Court, or the Clerk thereof, if in recess, to satisfy
any judgment that shall be recovered in such case against the
defendant or defendants; provided, however, that if the prop-
erty attached exceeds in value the amount of the plaintiff's
claim, then the defendant or defendants may dissolve such at-
tachment by giving bonds, condition as aforesaid, with security
approved as aforesaid, in double the amount of the plaintiff's
claim.

SECTION 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1920.
