near Waterloo, lying and being to the west of the Balti-
more-Washington Boulevard, and fronting thereon.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the State of Maryland, through the State Board
of Prison Control, a body corporate of the State of Mary-
land, be and it is hereby empowered and authorized to sell
at public auction to the highest bidder for cash and to con-
vey to the purchaser by a good and sufficient deed in fee sim-
ple, in consideration of and upon payment of the purchase
price therefor and all expenses for title papers, revenue
stamps, etc.. all that tract or parcel of land above described
containing eight and three-quarters acres of land, more or less,
being a part of the Gardner tract, now owned by the State of
Maryland and situate in Howard County, near Waterloo, lying
and being to the west of the Baltimore-Washington Boulevard,
and fronting thereon.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the first day of June, 1920.

CHAPTER 425.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 4 of the Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title "City of Baltimore." sub-
title "Courts," to be known as Section 322-A, and to pro-
ceed immediately after Section 322.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and the same is hereby added to
Article 4 of the Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "City
of Baltimore," sub-title "Courts," to be known as Section
322-A, and to read as follows:

SEC. 322-A. In all cases in equity upon suggestion in writ-
ing under oath either of the parties to said proceedings that
he believes that the Judge or Chancellor sitting in said Court
will not give fair and due consideration to the subject matter
in said case, the said Judge or Chancellor shall immediately
order and direct the records of the proceedings to the said
cause to be transmitted to some other Judge of the Supreme
Bench of Baltimore City to render a final decision thereon.
