CHAPTER 389.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 182
of the Code of Public Local Laws for Aune Arundel
County, title "County Commissioners."
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 182 of the Code of Public Local Laws for
Anne Arundel County, title "County Commissioners," be and
the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments
so as to read as follows:—
182. The County Commissioners of Anne Arundel County
be and they are hereby required to maintain and operate a
ferry from Taylorsville, on the west side of South River to
the public road on the east side of said river, and for this
purpose they are directed to purchase or have constructed a
ferry boat that will convey foot passengers, wagons, carriages
and other vehicles, and also to obtain a proper cable for the
same, and after the same shall have been purchased and con-
structed they shall employ a ferry man to take charge of said
ferry boat, whose salary shall not exceed ten hundred and
twenty dollars per annum, payable monthly.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all payments of
salary heretofore made said limitation of eighty-five dollars
per month, be and the same are hereby authorized and con-
firmed.

CHAPTER 390.
AN ACT to extend for a period of two years from January 1,
1920, the exemption from taxation of property held by
any hospital or asylum for future use, provided for in
Section 4-B, of Article 81, of the Code of Public General
"Laws of Maryland, said section having been enacted by
Chapter 201 of the Acts of 1918, of the General Assem-
bly of Maryland.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the exemption provided for in Chapter 201 of the
Acts of 1918 of the General Assembly of Maryland, codified
as Section 4-B of Article 81, of the Code of Public General
Laws, which provides that no real estate or any estate therein
heretofore or hereafter acquired and held for future use, and
