shall be brought by warrant, or indictment upon the oath or
information of any member of said Commissioners of Leonard-
town or any employee thereof, and the offender shall upon
conviction, be subject to a fine not exceeding one hundred
dollars or 30 days in the County Jail, or both, in the discretion
of the Court. Where such act or omission is of continuous
nature, and is persisted in, in violation of the provisions of
this Act, or any rule or regulation formulated thereunder, a
conviction from one offense shall not be a bar to a conviction
for a continuation of such offenses subsequent to the first or
any succeeding conviction.
SEC. 16. And be it further enacted, That all Acts of parts
of Acts inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, be and
the same are hereby repealed to the extent of their incon-
sistency, provided that nothing herein contained shall be taken
as effecting Chapter 810 of the Acts of the Maryland Legis-
lature of 1914, nor as restricting any control which the State
Board of Health of Maryland is empowered to exercise within
the corporate limits of the Town of Leonardtown.
SEC. 17. And be it further enacted, That at the next regu-
lar election of the Commissioners of Leonardtown there shall
be submitted to the qualified voters of the town of Leonard-
town, the question whether bonds shall. be issued for said
water supply system in Leonardtown, and at such election the
ballots cast upon such question shall have the words "For
Bond Issue for Water Supply System," and "Against Bond
Issue for Water Supply System," thereon, and if a majority
of the votes cast upon said question shall be '' For Bond Issue
for Water Supply System," then the Commissioners of Leon-
ardtown or a majority of them, shall proceed to execute the
power vested in them by this Act, but if a majority of the
votes cast shall be "Against Bond Issue for Water Supply
System" then this Act shall be of no effect; provided, how-
ever, that the same question shall be voted upon in the same
manner at any succeeding municipal election at which the
said Commissioners of Leonardtown may in their discretion
submit the question, and when so submitted and favorably
passed upon by the voters as aforesaid, the provisions of this
Act shall become immediately effective.
SEC. 18. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage, it being hereby de-
