CHAPTER 363.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections 29,
30 and 32 of Article II, of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland (Revised Edition of 1919), title "Frederick
County," sub-title "Birds and Game."

CHAPTER 364.
AN ACT to provide that no provision of law requiring regis-
tration under the election laws as a qualification for hold-
ing public office shall apply to those absent in military or
naval service or on business connected with the prosecu-
tion of the war.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That no provision of law, general or local, requiring reg-
istration under the election laws of the State as a qualifica-
tion for holding public office shall apply to any person who was
a resident of this State prior to the declaration of war in April,
in the year 1917, and who has been unable to register or vote in
elections held thereafter because of absence in the military
or naval service, or because of absence from the State at the
times set for the registration of voters on business, either mili-
tary or naval or civil, connected with the prosecution of the
war or incident thereto.
SECTION 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency law and necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public safety, and being
passed upon a yea and nay vote supported by three-fifths of
nil the members elected to each of the two Houses of the Gen-
eral Assembly, the same shall take effect from the date of its
passage.

CHAPTER 365.
AN ACT to repeal Section 37 of Article 19 of the Code of
Public General Laws, title "Comptroller," as amended
by Chapter 245 of the Acts of 1918, and re-enact the same
with amendments.
