CHAPTER 33.
AN ACT to repeal section One Hundred and Twenty-Nine
of Article Eighteen of the Public Local Laws, title
"Queen Anne's County,'' sub-title "County Commission-
ers," as amencec and re-enacted by the Act of Eighteen
Hundred and Ninety-Four, Chapter Four Hundred and
Fifty-Eight, and re-enact the same with amendments.
SECTION 1. And be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section One, Hundred and Twenty-Nine of
Article Eighteen of the Public Local Laws title "Queen
Anne's County," sub-title "County Commissioners," as
amended by the Act of Eighteen Hundred and Ninety-Four,
Chapter Four Hundred, and Fifty-Eight, be and the same is
hereby repealed, and, re-enacted, so as to read as follows:
SECTION 129. The Clerk of the County Commissioners of
Queen Anne's County shall receive annually as a compensa-
tion for his services the sum of twelve hundred dollars, and
said clerk is empowered to administer an oath or affirmation
to any account to any person presenting a claim to the Com-
missioners against said county, and he shall be allowed to
charge such persons the sum of ten cents for every such oath
or affirmation so administered.
SEC. 2. Be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from June 1st, 1920.

CHAPTER 34
AN ACT to authorise the County Commissioners of Queen
Anne's County to pay to David L Knight an annual
pension of ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS and to lew the
said amount on the assessable propertv of said county
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Queen Anne's Coun-
ty be and they afe hereby authorized and empowered and
directed to grant a pension of ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS,
annually to David L. Knight, who is over eighty years old
and is now by reason of his advanced age and poor health,
having been partially paralysed recently incapacitated from
