SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That there be a commission to be known as the Baltimore
County Trade Commission; Said commission shall consist
of so many members as the County Commissioners of Balti-
more County in their discretion shall deem best and such
members shall be appointed by the County Commissioners of
Baltimore County for such period not extending beyond the
term of the County Commissioners making said appointments
as said County Commissioners in their discretion deem ex-
pedient and said members so appointed shall serve without
compensation.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the said commis-
sion shall secure, digest, tabulate and put in some readily and
conveniently available form all such data, facts, and other
matters concerning, connected, with or relating to the physical,
political, social, and governmental character of Baltimore
County and all parts thereof, its industrial and commercial
resources and advantages in such available form that the in-
formation so gathered may readily be brought to the atten-
tion of persons interested. Said commission shall also inform
and advise itself of the methods which will be most efficient
in bringing to the attention of persons not familiar with them
the advantages offered by Baltimore County to commercial
and industrial enterprises locating there, and the commission
is authorized by and with the consent and at the direction of
the County Commissioners of Baltimore County, but in no
other way to employ assistants and pay such compensation
therefor as the said County Commissioners may in such order
direct.
SEC. 3. Be it further enacted, That the County Commis-
sioners of Baltimore County shall make such expenditures of
the public funds in aid of the purposes of the Baltimore
County Trades Commission provided for in the preceding
paragraphs of this bill as may in their judgment be proper.

Public Local Laws of the State of Maryland, title '' Tal-
bot County," sub-title "Easton," as enacted by Chapter
458 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of
1906.
