aforesaid; and for the other one-half it shall account quarterly
to the Comptroller and pay the same forthwith to the State
Treasurer for the use of the State.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from and after October 1, 1920.

CHAPTER 328.

AN ACT to empower and direct the Register of Wills of Har-
ford County to purchase fixtures and equipment for his
office.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Register of Wills of Harford County be and he
is hereby empowered and directed to further equip his office
with such furniture and metallic and other fixtures as he may
determine are necessary and requisite for the prompt and safe
dispatch of the business and protection of the papers and the
records of his office, for the proper and easy accommodation
of the public.

SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That all expenses incurred by said
Register under the aforegoing section of the Act, shall be paid
out of any surplus revenues now in or which may hereafter
come into his hands.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 329.

AN ACT to authorize and empower the State Roads Commis-
sion of Maryland to build, construct and maintain, as a
part of the State roads system an improved concrete
highway from the town of Patapsco, Carroll County,
Maryland, beginning at Mrs. Richard's farm, thence to
Bethel Church, thence to the State road leading from
Westminster to Reisterstown.
